1. SCOPE OF WORK

17G In September 2017, the API 17G Task Group leadership changed. The new co-chairs are Gregg Walz (Anadarko Corp) and Mike Byrd (BP-Retired). 17G1 – Recommended Practice - System Configuration and Operation of Subsea Well Intervention Systems

17G2 – Recommended Practice - Subsea Pumping Well Intervention Systems

• group kick-off held 4/10/19; 39 confirmed members

• Formed 7 work-groups

o 6 clause/annex workgroups with a work-group lead assigned to each

▪ Each work-group assigned a single or collection of clauses/annexes to development depending on complexity

o Work group 7 (integration team) consists of work-group leads and G2 task group lead

▪ Responsible for work-group deliverable reviews, inter-document integration, and G2 alignment with 17G, G1 and G5

• Developed a Ballot Draft Delivery Plan with deliverable/milestone dates

o Targeting ballot draft submittal to API: November 18, 2019

17G3 - Recommended Practice - Design of Subsea Well Intervention Systems Using Non-Ferrous Alloys

• Waiting for the main documents to be balloted and approved. Will adjust G3 current document where needed.

17G4 - Recommended Practice - Riserless Subsea Well Intervention

• Consensus reached in Jan 2019

• Comment resolution complete, currently with API for publishing to be concurrent with API 17G.

Key Milestones:

Sep 2017 – New leadership in place

Nov 2017 – Held 17G Content Workshop to define the principles and plan

Dec 2017 – Identification and deployment of workgroups, work began addressing requirements and comments

Jul 2018 – Completed updated Working Draft based on review of “shall” statements and previous ballot comments.

Oct 2018 – Completed internal review of Working Draft (17G & G5)

Nov 2018 – Completed external review of Working Draft of 17G & G5 (with voting companies)

Nov 2018 – Sent Ballot Draft (17G & G5) to API

Jan 2019 – 17G & 17G5 reached consensus ballot, began comment resolution

June 2019 – 17G & G5 comment resolution complete, sent back to API

- 17G currently is out for limited re-ballot

- 17G5 is awaiting publishing simultaneously w/17G

5. FUTURE WORK PROGRAM

At the time of this report, there have been no issues identified as part of a future work program.

6. FUTURE MEETINGS DATES

• The cadence of future meetings will be dictated by the response to the ballot draft.

7. RESOURCE NEEDS
