About the job IPE Triple Line is seeking to appoint a leader to join our expanding Private Sector Development (PSD) team in London. We are looking for an aspiring individual who is keen to manage and grow a team, including expanding their technical expertise in key areas of PSD. As Head of PSD you will lead on building our business in PSD related areas through winning work, directing and / or and managing projects. You will also work closely with the Growth, Infrastructure and City services group and other teams in Delhi and London contributing to proposals and implementation of projects.

You will also play a key role in the strategic management of IPE Tripleline / IPE Africa in contributing to the wider business strategy and resource planning.

Main responsibilities Your work will principally focus on: Technical consultancy and project direction and management. This will include consultancy and project management support to on-going and emerging projects, including: . Technical support and quality assurance to PSD project execution. . Oversight of project work planning, budgeting, progress and financial reporting across the PSD portfolio. . Leading teams on the technical implementation of assigned projects. Business development and project capture management. You will take a lead role in developing the PSD service portfolio within IPE Global. Strategically, this will include developing the IPE Global brand and service offers related to PSD and gaining a high degree of client recognition and trust. You will work directly with our Business Development Teams at HQ and regional levels with the aim of maximising our competitive strengths and value proposition. This function includes, but is not limited to, proposal preparation including planning, writing of methodologies, logical framework, work plans. This will also include attending networking events, meeting new clients and sub-contractors. Thought Leadership and Dissemination. You will be expected to represent IPE Tripleline at conferences and events and contribute to knowledge sharing through practice briefs, papers and debates on issues relating to best practice in private sector development and the role of the private sector in global poverty reduction.

Person specification Essential Desirable A postgraduate degree in a relevant discipline Experience of public financial management and value for money assessments. +10 years post qualified experience in Additional language skills. international development particularly in relation working with the private sector in support of private sector programmes. Proven track record in winning work . Understanding of market systems approaches, Professional experience in and Africa results chains and cost benefit analysis.
