Beck Institute Scholar. Received a complete scholarship to attend the extramural training program at the Beck Institute for Cognitive Therapy and Research. This full-year extramural program provided intensive training and supervision in cognitive therapy. The program was directed by Aaron T. Beck, M.D., and Judith Beck, Ph.D., and involved 3 weekend training seminars as well as weekly clinical supervision via telephone.

1999-2000 Clinical Consultant. London Health Sciences Centre, Department of Psychology, University Campus. Outpatient assessment and treatment of depression and anxiety.

1998-1999 Pre-doctoral Internship in Clinical Psychology. Queen Elizabeth-II Health Sciences Centre, Halifax, Nova Scotia. Internship accredited by the Canadian Psychological Association and the American Psychological Association. Major rotations in mental health and health psychology. Minor rotations in mental health day treatment, outpatient mental health, cardiac rehabilitation, HIV, and eating disorders.
