Written objections (stating grounds and quoting ref: 1209) must be received by me by the 16 th day of April 2018.

Considering the collision history, geometry (bends), and mix of road users including cyclists, it is considered that a reduction in the speed limit on rural sections of the A634 to 50mph would enhance road safety and better reflect the characteristics of the road.

Within the village of Oldcotes it is considered that a reduction in the speed limit on both the A634 and A60 would be appropriate. It is government policy that a 30mph speed limit should be the norm through villages.
