Q: What is the Textron Off Road World of Outlaws World Finals on November 2nd, 3rd & 4th? A: The World of Outlaws World Finals is the championship event for the World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Cars, the World of Outlaws Craftsman Late Model Series and the Super DIRTcar Series Big-Block Modifieds. What makes the event so special is that the greatest superstars in dirt racing are racing on the same track on the same nights. Only at the World Finals have race fans been able to see the likes of Donny Schatz, Shane Stewart, Brad Sweet, Daryn Pittman, Jason Sides, Kraig Kinser, David Gravel and all of the “winged warriors” on the same card as Brandon Sheppard, Shane Clanton, Chub Frank, Rick Eckert, Morgan Bagley, Devin Moran, Chris Madden and all of dirt racing’s stock car stars. Add in the “mighty modifieds,” fans will now get to witness the likes of Matt Sheppard, Brett Hearn, Jimmy Phelps, Billy Decker, Larry Wight, Pat Ward, Tim Fuller and Stewart Friesen, as the three most prestigious titles in all of dirt racing are decided at Charlotte.
Q: What is the special $89 ticket offer people keep telling me about? A. For a limited time, you can purchase a three-day reserved seat for just $89, and it includes a pit pass voucher redeemable for all three days of action. There is also a three-day reserved seat option for children (13 & under) for just $24. The special pit pass offer expires August 1, 2017, but three-day tickets are still available for just $89. A pit pass voucher alone does not permit access to the event. Beware of anyone trying to sell pit vouchers. All event tickets, pit pass tickets and pit pass vouchers have barcodes and are electronically scanned.
Q: How do I get tickets? A. Call (800) 455-FANS (3267), www.CharlotteMotorSpeedway.com, all Ticketmaster outlets or visit the Charlotte Motor Speedway Box Office on the second floor of Smith Tower (the large blue building at the main entrance to the superspeedway).
Q: When is the cutoff for the free pit pass offer? A: Friday, August 1, 2017
Q: Will I still be able to purchase the special $89 ticket offer after single-day tickets go on sale? A. Yes. You will be able to purchase them up until Thursday, November 2, 2017. Price will increase for the three-day ticket on the event week, starting Monday, October 30, 2017 to $99.
Q: How much are single-day tickets? A: Thursday – $32 Adults/$11 Children (13 & under). Friday – $52 Adults/$17 Children (13 & under). Saturday – $52 Adults/$17 Children (13 & under).
Q: Is reserved seating available? A. All seating at The Dirt Track is reserved, with the majority of the seats featuring aluminum seat backs.
Version #3 - 10/18/16 Q: Can I purchase pit passes in advance? A. Yes. You will be issued a pit pass ticket to be turned in at the Pit Shack located between The Dirt Track and zMAX Dragway at the main entrance to the pit area. Here you will be required to sign a Waiver and Release of Liability and will be issued a wristband. Please note that a pit pass ticket and a pit pass voucher are two completely different items. Three-day Pit Passes advance are also available for $100. Anyone 17 and under must have a child wavier form filled out with both parents’ signatures. If both parents are not present on site a notarized wavier form must be submitted witnessing both parents signatures. You must also have a copy of the child’s birth certificate upon arrival.

Q: What is the age limit for the pit area? A: Any person including those age 17 or younger is welcome in the pits. Age 17 and under must submit a fully-executed minor “Parental Consent, Release and Waiver of Liability, Assumption of Risk, and Indemnity Agreement/Minor's Assumption of Risk and Release and Waiver of Liability.” Minor Waivers must be signed by BOTH parents or notarized if not present. Form is available online at www.charlottemotorspeedway.com/waivers. Babies in arms/ kids age 2 and younger do not have to buy a pit pass, but are required to fill out a wavier form. Kids age 3-6 need a properly filled wavier form but do not need to buy a pit pass. Age 7 and above is pit pass pricing.
Q: Will I be able to upgrade my ticket to include a pit pass? A. Yes. Pit pass upgrades will be $15 per day with any multi-day or single-day ticket.

Q: What happens on Thursday? A. Thursday will kick off with two separate rounds of two-lap qualifying time trials for both the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series and the World of Outlaws Late Model Series, and two sessions of timed hot laps for the Super DIRTcar Series Big-Block Modifieds. The first round will set the heat race lineups for Friday’s event while the second round will set the heat race lineups for Saturday’s event. The Super DIRTcar Series will run their two sets of heat races, the first to determine Friday’s Feature race lineups and the second to determine Saturday’s Feature race lineups, as part of the Thursday night program.

Q: What is the format on Saturday? A. The Saturday Schedule will be the same as the Friday Schedule. This will allow Charlotte Motor Speedway and World Racing Group officials to keep Saturday’s program moving along smoothly for what promises to be a sold-out audience of over 15,000 dirt racing enthusiasts. The Champions will be crowned at the end of the racing action on Saturday. Subject to change.
Q: What is “flex-scheduling?” A. In an effort to maximize everyone’s experience, Charlotte Motor Speedway and World of Outlaws officials will be keeping an eye on the long-range weather forecast. If it appears that the temperatures are going to be uncomfortably cold, we will schedule the Friday and Saturday events to begin in the late afternoon. The hope is that this decision will be announced no later than 7 days prior to the event.
Q: What is the earliest the races would start if “flex-scheduling” is necessary? A. Hot laps could start as early as 3 p.m. and would be immediately followed by opening ceremonies and heat races.

Attention competitors: Please use the zMAX DRAGWAY Main Entrance off of Bruton Smith Boulevard to enter pit area. VP Racing Fuel will be available on-site. Charlotte Motor Speedway (CMS) rules prevail on all track procedures. RACEceiver One-Way Communicators are mandatory. Only tow vehicles will be allowed inside pit gate. One ATV will be credentialed per competitor. No riders. CMS reserves the right to restrict the use of ATV’s. World of Outlaws and Super DIRTcar Series rules and regulations prevail on all mechanical, procedural, technical, and tire matters.
***Charlotte Motor Speedway reserves the right to alter show format and revise race procedures in the event of, but not limited to, car count, inclement weather, challenging track conditions and/or other extenuating circumstances.
Q: Will there be a Pit Party? A. There will not be a pit party in the traditional sense as the $89 three-day ticket, when purchased before August 1, gives you UNLIMITED pit access. You can also upgrade any multi-day or single-day adult ticket on a daily basis.
Q: Is full-service camping available? Version #3 - 10/18/16 A. The Tom Johnson Camping Center Racing Resort at Charlotte Motor Speedway is located just off Bruton Smith Boulevard (I-85, exit 49) and is adjacent to The Dirt Track and zMAX Dragway, a quick walk to Charlotte Motor Speedway and a short drive to Concord Mills. This full service RV camping area is available for each event held at Charlotte Motor Speedway, zMax Dragway and The Dirt Track and is also available for daily camping on non-event days. This campground features picnic tables in each spot, gravel pads, and asphalt roads. Services include water & sewer hookups as well as electric service. Two (2) spot sizes are available: 20’x 50’ and 30’x 50’. B. The Tom Johnson Camping Center Racing Resort has a limited number of power-only hookup spots located in the zMAX Dragway Pit Space. Q: What about standard general camping? A. The Turn 4 Campground is located outside of Turns 3 and 4 of the superspeedway. It is non- serviced/primitive camping with a shower house and restroom facility located nearby and shuttle service to The Dirt Track. Site size available: 20' x 50'. Non-Power sides are $75 for 3-night package. Electric hook-up sites are $100 for 3-night package. Dump stations and water fill are provided for your convenience. A: Special camping passes are available for team camping in the LOWER pit area. They are available at registration for $100. Personal cars are also allowed to enter the lower pit area with a vehicle pass which is available for $25.00 at the Pit shack. Non permitted pit parking is behind the Dragstrip grandstands or the parking area off highway 29
Q: We are coming to race. Can we stay in our hauler in the pit area? A. Yes, you are welcome to camp in your hauler in the pit area. Please note that the entire pit area and all vehicles are secured 30 minutes prior to each day’s scheduled pit gate opening time. All the guests that do not have the proper credentials must exit the secured credential area.
Q: How do I enter to come and race? A. Official Entry Forms for the Textron Off Road World of Outlaws World Finals can be found at; (http://www.charlottemotorspeedway.com/tickets/world-of-outlaws-world-finals/) (click Competitor Info tab).
Q: Do I have to be pre-entered to compete? A. It is strongly recommended to file an Official Entry Application postmarked by October 21st. Due to the magnitude of the event, Charlotte Motor Speedway and World Racing Group reserve the right to limit the number of entries in each division.
Q: What is the format and what are the race procedures? A. The World of Outlaws and Super DIRTcar Series formats and race procedures will be as published in the respective rulebooks. Any amendments to the format are detailed on the Official Entry Application and in the Competitor Notes.
Q: What is the purse? A. Over $325,000 in prize money has been posted for the Textron Off Road World Finals.
Q: What are the tire rules? Version #3 - 10/18/16 A. The World of Outlaws Sprint Cars Hoosier tire rule will be in effect. Full specifications are published in the Series rulebook. The World of Outlaws Late Models “Open Tire” rule will be in effect. Full specifications are published in the Series Late Model rulebook. The Super DIRTcar Series Hoosier tire rule will be in effect. Q: What is the procedure for requesting media credentials? A. Submit in writing at least four weeks prior to the event. Credential requests must be on the media outlet letterhead and signed by the assigning editor. Credential requests must be mailed. Fax or email requests are not accepted. Q: How do I volunteer to be a push truck? A. All push truck positions have been filled at this time. Please keep us in mind for next year.
