SShheeeeddyy’’ss MMeenn MMuunnsstteerr’’ss KKiinnggss Part one Issue 11 July 13th 2009 photo; SPORTSFILE EDITORIAL COMMENT Issue 11 July 13th 2009 p 2 Hello Hurling Fans, With the Munster Final, the 2 qualifiers, the Christy Ring, Nicky Rackard and Lory Meagher Cup Finals along with a special interview with one of the greatest living legends of the game Micky ‘The Rattler’ Byrne we are diving this week’s issue into 2 PDF’s. In that way we can keep the resolution of the photos high and the size of both sections will be less than one megabyte. Part one is the magazine section and part two is the weekend roundup. The three Cup Finals in Croke Park provided some fine hurling but the crowd was just under 4,000 so it is probably back to the drawing board for those finals. Each needs to be played as a curtain raiser to a game from the Liam McCarthy Championship to create the right atmosphere. The Munster Final had patches of fine hurling and some fine individual displays but lacked the intensity of former classics. Both teams Tipperary and Waterford are continu - ing to make progress. Tipperary still look the best challenger to the champions but Wa - terford battled with heart and could yet make a final four berth. Best wishes ‘til next week from Hurling World. FEATURE Mickey ‘The Rattler’Byrne Issue 11 July 13th 2009 p 3 Rattle ‘em Mickey! Mickey ‘The Rattler’ Byrne from Thurles Sarsfields, held down the right fullback position for Tipperary for 12 championship seasons between 1949 and 1960 and was a substitute on the All-Ireland winning team of 1945.

Congratulations to Katie Morris, Sinéad Meagher and Eimear Meagher, our new All-Ireland medal holders. VOL. 2 ISSUE 3 APRIL 2014 SEPTEMBER 2013 FINAL CIVIC RECEPTION AT NENAGH TOWN COUNCIL On Friday April 25th, our club was honoured with a civic reception from Nenagh Town Council. This is the highest award the town can award and it was in recognition of the fantastic success our club enjoyed in 2013 in a number of different codes. Firstly the camogie section was honoured because they won the county Junior League and championship while the U18's also 1 captured county championship honours. Both our Scór and handball sections had numerous successes last year and they were recognised, as were our minor hurlers who won the county title. 2 3 Special mention must go to Aislinn O’Brien who was individually recognised because not only was she on the camogie teams who were so successful but she was also on the Nenagh Town AFC teams that won Munster honours at both U16 and Senior level.

11005025 OT6054 MSc Occupational Therapy (Professional Qualification) (OT 6054) Student number: 11005025 Occupational Therapy Project 4. Module Leader: Dr Judi Pettigrew Word count: 4987 nd 22 April 2013 0 11005025 OT6054 To construct a timeline of significant events in Dr. Eamonn O’Sullivan’s life time, particularly relevant to Occupational Therapy practice. Author: Ciara Faughnan and Dr. Katie Robinson Abstract Background: Documenting history in health care practice such as occupational therapy has become increasingly important to highlight the philosophical foundations of the profession. Much is known about pioneering occupational therapists in other countries; however the contribution of Dr. Eamonn O’Sullivan (1897-1966) to date has been completely unrecognised. Dr. O’Sullivan was one of the philosophical founders of modern occupational therapy in Ireland and worldwide publishing the first known occupational therapy book of its kind in Europe, ‘Textbook of Occupational Therapy with Chief Reference to Psychological Medicine’ in 1955. Objective: To construct timeline and narrative account of Dr. O’Sullivan’s lifetime with particular emphasis on significant events, relevant to occupational therapy describing practice and development during the twentieth century. Methods: Historical research of inquiry relevant to Dr. O’Sullivan using primary sources of; personal biographical transcripts, records of events, photographs and secondary data sources of; newspaper articles, published books, and internet searches.
