Attendance: . I 3.1 Every student is required to attend all the lectures, tutorials, practicals and other prescribed cunicular and co-cunicular activities. I 7.2 The distribution of marks for sessional, end semester theory papers, practical and other I examinations, seminar, project, industrial training and general proficiency shall be as I prescribed. I The marks obtained in a subject shall consist of marks allotted in end semester theory I paper, practical examination and sessional work. 1n The minimum pass marks in each theory subject (including sessional marks) shall be t 50% with a minimum of 40% marks in each theory paper in the end semester provision marks in any subject, the minimum pass D examination. A candidate shall be eligible for provisional promotion to the next academic year of o study provided : (i) He/She fails to satisfy the requirements of clause 7 .4,7 .5 and 7.7 in not more than 4 o theory subject and 2 practicaU project subjects on the basis of combined result ofboth a semester examinations of a oarticular academic vear. : o (ii) He/she fails to satisfu the requirements of clause 7 .4,7 .5 and7.7 (lheory andlor a practical/ project subjects) in not more than 3 theory subjects and 2 practical/project subjects in addition he/she fails to satisfu requirement ofclause 7.6 (aggregate marks) in o the combined result ofboth semester examinations ofa particular academic year. In such a a case aggregate marks shall be treated as one theory subject. f 8.2 (b)lf a candidate satisfies the requirement of clauses 7.4,7.5 & 7.7 but fails to satisfy the requirement of clause 7.6,helshe shalt be eligible for provisional promotion with carry over.
