EHF Men’s Champions League Draw ––– Qualification Tournament and Group Phase

The draw for the EHF Champions League 2010/11 season was carried out on 22 June 2010 in the EHF Headquarters, Vienna, by EHF Vice President Jean Brihault and EHF Secretary General Michael Wiederer.

Qualification Tournament info

The Qualification Tournaments will be played on 3/4/5 September 2010.

The teams of row 4 in each group – Besiktas and Porto – have been drawn to possess the right to organise the respective tournament. If they decline to do so, the right is passed on to row 3, then row 2 and finally to row 1.

The four teams taking part in the Wild Card Qualification Tournament were confirmed earlier by the Executive Committee of the EHF (no draw was needed). The club organising the tournament will be announced later.

Group Phase

The groups of six teams will play 10 rounds starting from September 2010 to March 2011.

The first four teams will advance to the Last 16 of the EHF Men’s Champions League.
