Motorised “Schutzen” Platoon Nov 44-End of War (from KsTN 1114c 1.11.44)

As the war wound down the Germans were

running out of men and the squads started to shrink. The were still available but now held at company level so

can be bought off the support lists as required. The company was now organised into two Schutzen “shooter” platoons and one Sturm “assault” platoon.

Regular: +4 Motorised “Sturm” Platoon Nov 44-End of War (from KsTN 1114c 1.11.44) Elite: +10 The first platoon in every company was Command Dice: 5 designated as an assault unit, equipped entirely

with the StG-44 assault . In practice a mix of PLATOON HEADQUARTERS SMGs and assault were likely used, so a Leutnant, Senior Leader, MP40 mix of both should be used. This platoon did not , 2 crew have any LMGs, so cannot win a long-range firefight but is devastating at short range.
