Central International Airport Co.Ltd. notifies the change of Chubu Centrair International Airport flight schedule to Summer Schedule 2021 (from March 28th, 2021 to October 30th, 2021)

Number of flights

The numbers displayed are counted as of April 1st .

1. International flights

Passenger flights: 12 flights per week (round trip) (12 flights in the previous month, 0 flights on April 1st 2020)

・ Route: Resumed round-trip service once a week on November 13th, 2020. *Resumed departure operations on September 1, 2020. ・Asiana Seoul Route: Resumed operations once a week on December 14th, 2020. ・ Airlines Route: Resumed operations once a week on September 10th, 2020. ・ Route: Resumed operations 4 flights a week on June 17th, 2020. ・Cebu Pacific Air Manila Route: Resumed operations 2 flights a week on September 8th, 2020. *4 flights per week from April 20 ・ Airlines Singapore Route: Resumed operations 3 flights a week on December 2nd, 2020. ・Delta Airlines Detroit Route: will resume operations once a week from April 4th, 2021

Freight flights: 32 flights per week (round trip) (33 flights in the previous month, 26 flights on April 1st 2020)

2. Domestic flights

Passenger flights: 62 flights per day (round trip) (38 flights in the previous month, 76 flights on April 1st 2020)

・JAL Group (JTA) will launch a new Miyako route (1 daily flight) and resume operations on the Ishigaki route for the first time in 9 years (1 daily flight) from March 28, 2021.

Overview from 2020

・The number of international passenger flights reached a new record high of 486 per week in January 2020, but due to the spread of the COVID19 infections, all flights were suspended from April 1st to June 16th, 2020. Since then, some routes have resumed operations.

・Since April 2020, multiple international passenger flights were operating as cargo.

・The number of domestic passenger flights was 97 per day as of January 1, 2020, but due to the spread of COVID19 it reached the lowest frequency recorded with 21 flights per day on May 1, 2020. Since then, the number of flights has been recovering.

Many of the plans during the summer timetable are still undecided due to the effects of COVID19. For detail information on each route please check each .
