I am responding to your request of February 14, 2017 for:
Statistics on dogs that have bit/attacked other animals/humans for the years 2012, 2013,2014, 2015 and 2016.
Provide details for: 1. Breed of dog that bit/attacked; 2. Bite directed towards (i.e. another dog, another animal, human); 3. Year incident took place; and 4. Total number of bites/attacks in the city per year.
All responsive records are attached.
Please note: statistics for breed types beyond 2014 are not readily available and will likely result in a fee. If you would like to receive that information, please send in a new FOI Request and we will send you a fee estimate (at $30 per hour to search and compile that data).
Under section 52 of the Act you may ask the Information &. Privacy Commissioner to review any matter related to the City's response to your request. The Act allows you 30 business days from the date you receive this notice to request a review by writing to: Office of the Information&.
