By Meghan Meagher Staff Writer Summer 2019 went by in a blink of an eye, and over those short 77 days a lot has happened. Whether it be from the most talked about celebrity drama to the most worn jewelry trends, this summer had it all. With the weather not making it feel that summer is officially over, we all have to accept the fact that it is now the beginning of October, and school is in full swing. And we can finally get to look back on the hot topics this summer has brought to us. Cape Cod experienced a number of different events over the course of the summer. Between Great White Sharks and freak tornadoes, Cape Cod has had a very challenging summer. Last year was the first shark attack that occurred off the coast of Cape Cod since 1936. This summer proved that these sharks are back and they are here to stay. Many beaches are having to close due to regular shark sightings.
