K/PH1/2/2 [1830] Illustrations from an unknown newspaper showing the proposed King’s College London coat of arms, entrance from the strand and the front of the College building pasted onto a piece of paper. On reverse is a pasted on cutting of an illustration entitled ‘The Neapolitan Calesso’. King's College London Archives K/PH1 K/PH1/2/3 [1919-1930] Small commemorative photograph albums containing prints of black and white photographs of scenes around the College printed and published by The Commercial and General Photographic Co, Kensington, London. The albums contain images of the exterior of the main College building; the Entrance Hall; the Executive Committee of the Union Society; the Chapel; the War Memorial; the Roll of Honour; the Council Room; the General Library; the Skeat and Furnivall Library; the First Year Drawing Office; the Heat Engines Laboratory; the Wheatstone Electrical Laboratory; the Wheatstone Physics Laboratory; the lower Chemical Laboratory; the biological Laboratory; the Theological Classroom; the Medical Common Room. The photographs appear to date from around 1919-1920, but some of the albums have other dates written on the covers. Some of the albums are incomplete. 9 items.
