The foyer opens to a large living area leading to a deck and a water body. A guest bedroom in a corner with the dining, kitchen and utility next to each other lends to smart use of space. First floor opens up to a cosy home theatre on one side and a bedroom with a sit-out, while the other side has a special family corner leading to the master bedroom with a balcony. Past the foyer is the guest room tucked away in a corner. The large living area leads to a deck and a water body. The kitchen and utility side by side open up to the well-lit dining area. First floor offers a special home-theatre experience when the family decides to huddle. A study alongside the master bedroom gives extra privacy for the bookworms. Step into the foyer and get going to do your thing easily as you can make an easy choice. Turn right to go up the stairs. Turn left to enter the dining area next to the kitchen. Or walk straight into the living area or towards the guest bedroom. The first floor further opens up to the master bedroom, family corner, home theatre or the children bedroom with equal poise. The beauty of living it up is showcased here as you turn into the foyer from the walking track. A large living area adjoins a special water feature on one side. While the kitchen looks into the courtyard, the central dining area leads into the large deck and a private swimming pool. Upstairs the expanse continues as the family corner and the master bedroom continue the charm. The study, home-theatre and a larger children's bedroom with a big balcony leave a big impression. For those who want privacy for the guest, this offers a good choice as it's next to the entrance foyer. The eye follows the living area and the deck and water body with the kitchen and dining behind. Upstairs the family and master bedroom looks into the front area, while the home theatre and the third bedroom adjoins a large sit out area for memorable social times. As you walk up around the car park and go past the foyer, the large living area with a spacious deck and water body is surely inviting. The kitchen, dining and guest bed room each has its special nook. Go up and you are greeted by the home theatre, family room and the master bedroom for those chat up times while two other bedrooms have their private corners. A Haven of Wellness Nurture your family along with others amidst 20 acres of freshness, with serenity in every nook and corner of the estate. Sustainable Eco-living You can take many things beyond luxury for granted here. A Summer Sanctuary Rewind in the mango orchard, walk on the crafted walkways by the serene water bodies, follow the cycling trail, and relax on the open yoga deck. Woodsong - Around the Mangoes A serene escape to the charm of old Bangalore Woodsong is a gated villa community that lets imagination run amok over 20 acres of freshness. The first half consists of Paulsen's early experiences running sled dogs in Minnesota and then in Alaska, and the second half describes the roads and animals he faces in the Iditarod Trail Sled Dog Race. Paulsen opens his book with a vivid retelling of a story in which he watched brush wolves kill and devour a live doe in the woods. This event revealed the raw, unfabricated realities of nature to him. Paulsen recounts many incidents he has undergone with his dogs on their runs, including times he has been carried to safety by his sled dogs after breaking his knee on the trail, became violently ill in the midst of extreme cold conditions, and a variety of mysterious happenings in the Alaskan wilderness. In all of their adventures, he bonds closely with his dogs, particularly one named "Storm". Storm was an ideal dog that taught Paulsen many life values. The race proves to be long and arduous. Extreme cold conditions and difficult terrain put both he and his team to the test. He is repeatedly afflicted by lifelike hallucinations caused by extreme sleep deprivation, such as a man with a trench coat talking about educational grants, and hallucinating about a man hallucinating. But Gary is spurred onward by the beauty of the race and his devotion to the team. During the race, Gary experiences a unique feeling when he is running with his dogs. After nearly seventeen days, he at last crosses the finish line in Nome. He places last in the race, but the accomplishment and adventure are all that matter to him. Gary feels at home and a sense of peace when he is sledding with the dogs in the race. From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia. This article does not cite any sources. • Woods Runner by Gary Paulsen Although Samuel's Parents Lived in the Wilderness, They Were Not a Part of It
Story Elements Characters A dynamic character is one who goes through a personality change due to the events in the story. A static character is one whose personality does not change throughout the story. Round Characters A round character is one whose personality, background, motives, and other features are fully described or explained by the author. In general, main characters are round because many insights are given. Flat Characters A flat character is one who is not fully described but is useful in carrying out some narrative purpose of the author. They tend to be minor characters. Dynamic and Round In most books the main character is both dynamic and round. Round and Static Characters can be round and static. For example, think about the character James Bond. We know a great deal about this character’s personality (round), yet he does not go through an inner personality change from the beginning to the end of the story (static). Often the side-kick in a story is round and static. Dynamic and Flat Characters cannot be dynamic and flat, because in a flat character we do not know enough about them to recognize a change. Dynamic or Static Round or Flat Ebenezer Scrooge from Charles Dickens's A Christmas Carol Dynamic and Round Dynamic or Static Round or Flat Billy Coleman from Wilson Rawls Where the Red Fern Grows Dynamic and Round Dynamic or Static Round or Flat Will Coleman (Billy’s dad) from Wilson Rawls’ Where the Red Fern Grows Static and Flat Dynamic or Static Round or Flat Mayor Cole from Jeanne DuPrau’s The City of Ember Static and Flat Dynamic or Static Round or Flat Lina Mayfleet from Jeanne DuPrau’s The City of Ember Dynamic and Round Dynamic or Static Round or Flat Robin from Batman Static and Round Assignment On your story map list these characters in The Cay.
