According to Indian state of forest Report (ISFR – 2019) the total forest cover in M.P. increased to 77,482.49 sq km which is 25.14% of the states geographical area. The forest area in MP is increased by 68.49 sq km. The first forest policy of Madhya Pradesh was made in 1952 and the second forest policy was made in 2005. Madhya Pradesh has a total of 925 forest villages of which 98 forest villages are deserted or located in national part and sanctuaries. MP is the first state to nationalise 100% of the forests. Among the districts, Balaghat has the densest forest cover, with 53.44 per cent of its area covered by forests. Ujjain (0.59 per cent) has the least forest cover among the districts In terms of forest canopy density classes: Very dense forest covers an area of 6676 sq km (2.17%) of the geograhical area. Moderately dense forest covers an area of 34, 341 sqkm (11.14% of geograhical area). Open forest covers an area of 36, 465 sq km (11.83% of geographical area) Madhya Pradesh has 0.06 sq km.

Majority {1344 disease which is a major public health threat globally. The incidence (74.9%)} of patients were adults with mean age of 29.2±12.8 of dengue fever is increasing year after year with morbidity and years, while 25.1% were paediatric cases with mean age of mortality in urban and suburban areas of tropical and subtropical 9.1±3.72 years. Out of 1794 cases, 625 (34.8%) patients were regions of the world. However, data related to its exact incidence found to be dengue positive by NS1 and/or IgM dengue ELISA. in many parts of India is still lacking. ANSWER MINISTER OF STATE FOR TRIBAL AFFAIRS (SMT. RENUKA SINGH SARUTA) (a) & (b): Under the schemes/programmes namely Article 275(1) of the Constitution of India and Special Central Assistance to Tribal Sub-Scheme (SCA to TSS), funds are released to State Government to undertake various activities as per proposals submitted by the respective State Government and approval thereof by the Project Appraisal Committee (PAC) constituted in this Ministry for the purpose. Funds under these schemes are not released directly to any ITDP/ITDA. However, funds are released to State for implementation of approved projects either through Integrated Tribal Development Projects (ITDPs)/Integrated Tribal Development Agencies (ITDAs) or through appropriate agency. The details of work/projects approved during the last three years under these schemes to the Government of Madhya Pradesh are given at Annexure-I & II. Dhar, Biological Sciences, Rani Jhabua and Mandla districts have more than 50 percent tribal population. In Khargone, Chhindwara, Durgavati University, Seoni, Sidhi and Shahdol districts 30 to 50 percent population is of tribes. Maximum population is that Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh, of Gond tribes.
