Bresler Quartet Bresler Quartet is a young string quartet named by their mentor Sergei Bresler, violinist and founding member of Jerusalem Quartet, who realized their potential and inspired them to make the quartet playing a part of their lifes. Bresler Quartet is very international and contains players from Italy, Columbia and Russia. In 2017 they met in Cremona (Italy) in Walter Stau er Academy and decided to create a stable string quartet. The quartet known as a talented and perspective ensemble wich regularly performs all over the Europe. Their music repertoire ranges from classical till contemporary period: in 2018 they were invited to play the premier of the Quartet n.5 written by Fabio Vacchi, italian composer known throughout the world, in Teatro Giacosa of Ivrea (Italy). In 2018 and 2019 they had an honour to perform together with such masters as Salva- tore Accardo and Antonio Meneses. Concerts took a place during in Teatro Ponchielli of Cremona (Italy) during the Festival ‘‘Omaggio a Cremona’’. They also had a pleasure to play for Bruno Giuranna and have a lesson with him. From 2018 Bresler Quartet is a member of Zeist Muziek Dagen festival (Zeist, the Nether- lands). During the festivals they had an opportunity to work with all the members of Jerusalem Quartet, Schumann Quartet, Sitkovetsky Trio, Marcin Sieniawski, Aleksander Rudin, Oliver Wille. All the professors were impressed by unique sound of the quartet, ability to play in di erent music styles, fast reaction during lessons and great will to create music together: they were selected to participate in all the concerts of the Festival in di erent cities of the Netherlands, where they had a huge success among the audi- ence. In 2019 Bresler Quartet entered in the project ‘Le Dimore del Quartetto’ and started to collaborate with Giovanni Bietti in masterclasses and concerts during the ‘Festival Bor- ciani’ in Reggio Emilia, Italy.

In January 2020 Bresler Quartet was one of four selected quartets for the residence pro- gram at String Quartet Biennale in Amsterdam (The Netherlands). During this festival they had a chance to work with Jerusalem Quartet, Joel Krosnick (Julliard Quartet), Isabel Charisius (Alban Berg Quartet), Pavel Fischer (Skampa Quartet), Richard Ireland.

Currently Bresler Quartet continues to study with Sergei Bresler and participating in numerous master-classes. Masha Diatchenko, rst violin, was born in Rome, into a family of violin players. Masha began studying violin and piano at the age of four years, under the guidance of her father, M° Serguej Diatchenko. At the age of ve she scored her rst success, performing as a pianist in a recital by M° at the Aula Magna of the University "La Sapienza" in Rome. Since then, she began her career as a musician, gradually orienting herself towards the violin, for which she has shown a natural talent and innate abilities. Masha took a part in cultural and social events where she performed as violin solo and with an in the presence of Pope John Paul II, Pope Benedict XVI, Cardinal Bertone, Princess Caroline of Monaco and prominent gures in culture and politics. In 2007, at the age of 12, she graduated at the Conservatory of Genova with best grade and honors with M° Massimo Coco, and her talent is recognized in numerous national and international competitions. Masha is the rst 12 year old violinist in the world who has performed Paganini's 24 caprices in a single live concert. She also released inter- views to the Ukrainian television, to EuroNews, to Euroclassical and to Italian TV channels RAI 2, RAI 3 and RAI Sat. In 2015, she graduated at the Academy of Santa Cecilia in Rome with best grade and honors with M° Sonig Tchakerian, and in the same year she won the Premio ‘Presidenza della Repubblica’ in memory of Giuseppe Sonipoli as the best artist/music player of the year 2015. From 2014 she studies with M° Boris Belkin at the Conservatorium Maastricht (The Netherlands) and from 2017 she studies with M° Salvatore Accardo in Stau er Academy of Cremona. From 2014 she’s attending the summer courses of Accademia Chigiana in Siena (Italy). Masha plays a violin of Antonio Stradivari of 1687. Cesare Zan ni, second violin, comes from a musicians family. Born in 1989 in , in 2011 he graduat- ed from the "Giuseppe Verdi" Conservatory in Milano under the guidance of M° Fulvio Luciani, obtaining the highest evaluation as well as, in 2014, in Chamber Music under the guidance of M° Roberto Tarenzi. He studied also at Fiesole Music School Trio repertory with M° Bruno Canino. In 2017 he graduated at the Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance in Master in Performing Arts under the guidance of M° Lihay Bendayan. He did advantaced studies with M° Michael Frischenschlager in Vienna and Salzburg. In 2009 he won the Paolo Borciani Scholarship from the Milano Conservatory in string quartet and, in piano trio, the "Rovere d'Oro - Young Artists" com- petition and in 2012 the Antonio Beltrami Scholarship from the Milano Conservatory. Between 2017 and 2018 he was part of the ECMA (European Chamber Music Academy) and he had the chance to have lessons with Hatto Bayerle, Alfred Brendel, Johannes Meissl and many others great musicians. He works with Beer Sheva Sinfonietta, Israel Cham- ber Orchestra, Mannheimer Philharmoniker, Jerusalem Symphony, Cameristi della Scala, Orchestra Classica Viva, Milano Chamber Orchestra, Orchestra Coccia and Virtuosi della Scala. He’s Leader of Second Violins of Tel Aviv soloists Ensemble. Since 2018 he collaborates with Interpreti Veneziani in as soloist violin. In 2014 he won the violin tutti position in the Haifa Symphony Orchestra. In 2017 he won the assistant second violins in the Beer Sheva Sinfonietta. In 2020 he won the tutti position in the Israel Camerata Jerusalem.

Maria Kropotkina, viola, was born in Moscow in artistic family. She started to play violin at the age of 5 and switched to viola at the age of 17. Maria graduated Academic Music College named by P. Tchaikovsky (Moscow, Russia) in a class of O.Bulakova in 2013, Conservatorium Maastricht (Netherlands) in a class of M.Kugel in 2016 and Royal Conservatoire (Den Haag, The Netherlands) in a class of M.Zemtsov in 2018. Maria is a winner of several international competitions and participant of numerous masterclasses. In 2016 she received Rotary Club scholarship and was performing Schubert's "Forellen" Quintet with Bruno Canino in Museum del Violino, Cremona. The same year she had an honor to perform two string quintets of Brahms with Maestro Bruno Giuranna in Museum del Violino during Viola Congress. In 2017 Maria had a solo recital in Museum del Violino, Cremo- na. From 2017 Maria is a member and embassador of Verbier Festival Orchestra. In 2017 Maria won an audition for the principal viola and was leading viola section during Gergiev Festival in Rotterdam (The Netherlands) under the guid- ance of V. Gergiev. Maria is currently studying in "Walter Stau er" Academy in Cremona, Italy, with Maestro Bruno Giuranna and in Haute Ecole de Musique de Geneve with Ori Kam.

Santiago Bernal Montaña, cello, was born in Medellin, Colombia. He began with the cello at the Diego Echavarría Music Institute, continued his studies with Javier Arias and Henryk Zarzycki at EAFIT Universi- ty. Santiago is currently doing his master's degree with Professor David Eggert at the Hochschule der Künste Bern. He has taken master classes with Maria Kliegel, Anner Bylsma, Nicolas Altstaedt and Leonard Elschenbroich. He has also participated in the Femusc Festival (Brazil), Verbier Festival (Switzerland), Sull Acqua Music Festival (Italy) and Festival Dialogue (Salzburg). Santiago is an active chamber musician, soloist, folk musician and pedagog. His arrangements and compositions have been performed in Latin America, United States, France, Switzer- land, Germany and Japan. He is a member of Kandáleko (Gaitas Music), Duo In Luce and Iberacademy in Medellin, Colombia. Santiago plays since June 2014 on a French cello by Jean Plumerel (1723), which is a loan from the Saludarte Foundation (USA) and Filarmónica de Medellin.
