Cal has a slew of talented swim- mers and divers on its roster, including U.S. Olympic gold-medalist Nathan Adrian and fellow 2008 Olympians Martti Aljand, Guy Barnea, Damir Dugonjic and Martin Liivamagi, joined by freshmen and returning Bears who hope to build on Durden’s first year as head coach last season. Under Durden in 2007-08, the Bears exceeded expectations by taking second place in the Pac-10 Championships and finishing fourth in the NCAA Championships.
