MINNESOTA VIKINGS | VIKINGS.1RMG.COM U.S. BANK VIKINGS TRAINING CAMP MEDIA PROTOCOLS 2021 - tco performance center - eagan, minnesota

As you or your outlet have requested to cover U.S. Bank Vikings Training Camp, please note your application status will be updated on Monday, July 26. Please review the notes below as you prepare to attend camp. These are new protocols for everyone so we appreciate your patience and flexibility as our organization looks forward to hosting you at Twin Cities Orthopedics Performance Center.

COVID-19 VACCINATION/CERTIFICATION FORM All media members working training camp from TCO Performance Center must be fully vaccinated. Please submit the vaccination certification form If you haven’t done so already, . If you are not fully vaccinated or you are not comfortable providing this information, you will not be permitted to cover training camp in-person.

TIER 2M, TIER 3-OA NFL protocols allow 25 media members to be placed in Tier 2M each day and work out of TCO Media Center. These tier members will be required to test in our on-site trailer every 14 days, fill out a daily health screening form and wear trackers when on campus. Masks must be worn inside the media center at all times. Tier 2M will be able to conduct socially distanced in-person interviews. Please note with the high demand for access and limited space, we will do our best to accommodate interested media outlets but at times you may be required to observe practice as a Tier 3-OA member. Tier 3-OA allows you to watch practice but in-person interview or media center access will not be permitted per NFL protocols.

TIER 2M COVID-19 TESTING CADENCE All media members in Tier 2M will be required to take a POC test from the BioReference trailer prior to attending your first practice. A negative test will be valid for 14 days. We will inform media members if this process applies to them and will communicate date/time options to test while at TCOPC. Testing hours will be 9 a.m. – 11 a.m. on Monday, July 26 and Tuesday, July 27. Every day for the remainder of camp, the trailer will be open to test daily from 9 a.m. – 12 p.m.

CREDENTIALS Your camp credential will be available upon your first day covering camp at the media check-in table. Your credential is only valid for your approved days to cover camp and those days will be communicated via our staff. By accepting a credential, the accredited organization and media member agrees to be bound by all terms and conditions set forth in the Credential Use Conditions available here: https://nflcommunications.com/Documents/Credentials2021.pdf. The Vikings communications staff will determine your tier (2M, 3-OA).

MEDIA PARKING LOT All media members will park in the lot across the street from Vikings Museum and the team store, where you will see signage to help direct you. Additional parking is available in the TCO Medical Building parking lot if needed. To gain access through security, please provide the digital parking pass that will be linked in your approval email via the credential site. All parking passes this year are digital so please save that parking tag image and be prepared to show for daily admittance. A site map is also linked in your approval email for reference.

MEDIA CHECK-IN After parking, media members will locate the media check-in table near the Vikings Museum and team store next to the security magnetometers. After confirming your vaccination certification has been submitted, all credentials will be picked up upon arrival of your first day at training camp. Media will be screened and have their bags searched.

TCO MEDIA CENTER All Tier 2M members will be directed from media check-in past TCO Stadium to the media work room through the doors to the left of the guest lobby. Please use your previous five-digit code to unlock the door. Please reach out if your code does not work or if you do not have one. To enter TCO Media Center daily, Tier 2M members are required to fill out the health screening form and take a tracking device. You must record the tracker number on your form every day and keep on your person at all times, even outside. Masks are required inside the TCO Media Center.

RSVP We will notify you or your outlet to provide your daily allotment of media members allowed to attend training camp. If there is a request for an additional media member from your outlet to attend camp, please notify us as early as possible and we will review our lists to see what is possible. Because of the continued NFL protocols with media allotment limited, it is imperative that you notify us if your outlet and/or workers will not be attending practice. This will allow us to accommodate additional outlets that were not granted a daily spot.

MEDIA ROUTES 2M members will exit the media center and use the concrete stadium stairs, through the main concourse (past concession stand and weight room windows) to the black gate where our staff will meet you with rosters. 3OA will walk from media check-in and take a left at the plaza (just beyond team store and museum), up the stairs and turf area and through the exterior black gate into the internal black gate where our staff will be.

PRACTICE VIEWING All approved media is permitted to view the entirety of practices during camp and can photograph, film and tweet but cannot live stream. Tripods are only allowed on the east sideline (concrete pavement along TCOPC) and the south sideline (concrete pavement below the fan bleachers). The north sideline (along O’Neill Drive), east sideline up to the press conference area, south sideline and west sideline (along the tents) are permissible viewing spaces. Media will not be allowed on the turf strip between the practice fields. The Vikings communications staff will help monitor proper viewing locations while at practice and adjustments will be made as necessary.

POST-PRACTICE AVAILABILITY Per NFL protocol, only Tier 2M media members will be permitted to attend in-person press conferences and interviews. Please keep distance from all players, coaches, Tier 1 and 2 staff while at press conferences and viewing practice.

The complete training camp guide, site map and digital parking pass will be included in your approval email. For the daily media schedule and all Vikings related materials, please visit the online media center at http://vikings.1rmg.com where all items will be stored.

We are very excited to have media back on campus and look forward to seeing you all very soon. Please reach out to the Vikings communications staff with any questions.
