Day of gratitude at SIS

tudents of KG and Primary section of the Shantiniketan Indian SSchool (SIS) celebrated a day of gratitude recently at their premises. Students made cards and posters with touching messages. The most laudable part of this endeavor was ‘Little expressions’ in the form of short speeches, messages, poems and songs rendered to express their love and gratitude towards their teach- ers, parents and peers. The bulletin boards highlighted the need to be thankful and appreciate the good things we have. Headmistress, Mehjabeen motivated the students to articulate their feelings to express their gratitude. She further emphasised that the first and foremost task is to devote a little time and exert best efforts to be among the grateful. HYPER SUDOKU How to play Kakuro: KAKURUO The kakuro grid, unlike in sudoku, can be of any size. It has rows and columns, and dark cells like in a crossword. And, just like in a crossword, some of the dark cells will contain numbers. Some cells will contain two numbers. However, in a crossword the numbers reference clues. In a kakuro, the numbers are all you get! They denote the total of the digits in the row or column referenced by the number. Within each collection of cells - called a run - any of the numbers 1 to 9 may be used but, like sudoku, each number may only be used once.
