MAGPIE CENTRE SWINGS INTO ACTION

After a very successful Craft and Country Fair held on Sunday 20th August at Wallington Hall, which raised more than £4,000 for the Magpie Centre, home of West Norfolk Riding for the Disabled Association, plans are already under way for an even bigger and better event next year, scheduled for Sunday 19th August 2018.

Meanwhile, the Centre is well into its autumn riding and carriage driving programme, with around 114 lessons being given every week to people of all ages and levels of physical and learning disability. If you know of anyone who might like to participate, just call the Magpie Centre 01553 810202 and request an application form.

Saturday 21st October sees the fifth of our ever-popular Quiz-with-Hog Roast (and vegetarian option) evenings, at Stowbridge Village Hall, Downham Road, Stowbridge PE33 0EP. Teams are of 4 to 8 people, or make up a team on the night. A licensed bar will serve beer, wine, cider and soft drinks.
