ATTENTION: The remaining activities will need to be done with your parents at home. I’ve come up with some comparable activities that can be done at home with your family: 8. Explain how Adventist history began in your own local church or community. This will be a part of the assignment that you will need to do with the help of your Mom or Dad, or Pathfinder leaders. I encourage you to write a short page (1-page) or tell about what you learned in a short video clip that your parents can post on the Pathfinder Covid Club Facebook page. 9. Create a poster about an important person or event in Adventist history. This can be a fun Sabbath afternoon project to do with your family. 10. Visit a virtual Adventist Heritage site such as the William Miller Farm, the Farm, the Home, or some other historic site. An excellent place to start is the Adventist Heritage Ministry website (www.adventistheritage.org). 11. Facilitate family worships for your family the next week (5 minutes) about various topics related to our Adventist heritage. a. Waiting with eager anticipation for Jesus to come again. b. Jesus at the center of . c. Adventist missions (maybe a favorite missionary or mission story). d. The history of youth ministry/Pathfinders e. The calling of Ellen White as a prophet and how she points us to Jesus and the Bible. f. How to share our faith with others.
