THE NATIONAL: St. Cloud State University joined the National Col- legiate Hockey Conference in 2013-14. The Huskies accepted the invitation to join The National in 2011, and they joined Colorado Col- lege, University of Denver, University of Minnesota Duluth, University of Nebraska Omaha, Miami University, University of North Dakota and Western Michigan as members of the new league this winter. The Hus- kies became an NCAA Division I affiliate in 1987-88 and they joined the WCHA in 1990-91 and were affiliated with the WCHA until 2012-13.

PRESEASON All-NCHC: St. Cloud State University senior blueliner Jimmy Schuldt and senior forward Robby Jackson were named to the 2018-19 Preseason All-NCHC team. A three-time team captain, Schuldt earned MEET YOUR CAPTAINS: St. Cloud State senior Jimmy Schuldt will serve as All-NCHC First Team and All-America status in 2017-18. Brett Larson joins the staff at St. Cloud State with a decorated college hockey coaching PLAYING EXPERIENCE resume that includes helping lead NCHC rival Minnesota Duluth to one of its most successful Minnesota Duluth 1991-95 runs in the history of that program – including two NCAA championships. Madison (CoHL) 1995-96 Larson opened his career at SCSU with a 3-2 win at Alaska on Oct. 12, 2018 in his first Louisville (ECHL) 1996-97 game as a collegiate head coach. He currently owns a 13-1-2 record with the Huskies. Utah (IHL) 1997-98 Larson is the third coach at St.Cloud State in the history of the University’s NCAA Division San Diego (WCHL) 1997-01 I men’s hockey program, and SCSU’s 17th head coach since the program stared intercolle- Bad Nauheim (Germany) 2001-02 giate play in 1931-32. 2005-06 Larson takes over a program at St. Cloud State University that was led by Coach Bob Basingstoke (Germany) 2005-06 Motzko for 13 seasons. The Huskies have positioned themselves among the best NCAA Florida Seals (SPHL) 2006-07 Division I programs in the nation and in 2017-18, SCSU won the National Collegiate Hockey Conference regular season championships for the second time since 2014. Roller Hockey Experience SCSU was ranked for nine weeks as the nation’s number one team and finished the 2017- Minnesota Artic Blast (RHI) 1996 18 campaign with a 25-9-6 overall record and a 16-4-4 NCHC record. Orlando Jackals (RHI) 1997 Larson most recently served as an assistant coach at his alma mater Minnesota Duluth Orlando Surge (MLRH) 1998 from 2015 to 2018. He also was an assistant with the Bulldogs from 2008-11 and helped Minnesota Blue Ox (RHI) 1999 Minnesota Duluth win an NCAA Division I national title in 2011 and once again in 2018.
