We salute Chef Rosie for over three decades of dedication. He has been a part of the Marian Manor family since before our doors even opened.

After 31 years of dedicated service, Rosie has also retired his chef hat to relax and spend time with his family. Following his military service in the Navy, Rosie worked as part of the construction crew that built Marian Manor. He was one of the original employees hired as a cook. Marian Manor will miss him and all the delicious meals he provided over the years – especially his scrumptious homemade soups. Godspeed good and faithful friend!

A Reason to Smile For a Brighter The COVID-19 Vaccine is here! Tomorrow The COVID-19 vaccine has arrived, and we are thrilled that our residents and staff were among the first to have the opportunity to receive it! The health and safety of those in our community has always been our top priority, and we are overjoyed thinking of the peace of mind that will come with the vaccine’s protection. Our first vaccination clinic was held on January 27 and our second was held February 17. Throughout the community, we received an overwhelmingly positive response from residents and family members. They have responded as this generation always has, by setting a good example: 98% of our residents have already received the vaccine. It is a great privilege to do our part by participating in vaccination clinics and we are proud to be a part of this scientific achievement. Vaccination clinics at Marian Manor are administered by CVS through the Pharmacy Partnership for Long-Term Care Program, which was created by the CDC. Staff and residents will not incur any costs to receive the vaccine. Those with questions and concerns about the vaccine were grateful for the educational resources we have provided on the development, clinical trials, efficacy, and safety of the COVID-19 vaccines. That information is also available on our website: marian-manor.com/vaccine. Magical Moment! The Coordinated Services Management Even during a global pandemic, a memorable moment can be made through a window. Residents Harold and Marianna Price attended their son’s wedding held at Marian Manor. Community Our team was happy to assist in making this special day a reality through our Wishing Well Project, which helps make the dreams of our residents come true. The bride and groom traveled Family from Georgia to exchange their vows in front of immediate family. The gathering was safe and intimate, with only parents and siblings attending. Witnessing the joy this brought to the family’s faces was very touching. As Marianna simply stated, “It was magical.” Congratulations to the Our Lady of the Valley bride and groom, Phillip and Emily Price.
