Fireworks! Saturday, April 30th Location: Sarsfield Bridge, Clancy Strand and Arthur’s Quay Park The Limerick sky will light up with a spectacular fireworks display from 9pm on Saturday night.Thousands will gather on the bridges around the River Shannon to celebrate Riverfest 2011!

The Coronas- Live at the Big Top Saturday, April 30th Location: Milk Market, Cornmarket Row The Dolan’s crew and the Meteor-award winning Corona’s celebrate their double platinum “Heroes or Ghosts” with their loyal Limerick fans in a superb new venue. The Coronas are back after a nationwide sell- out tour which included 3 dates in ’s Olympia Theatre and an 18 date tour of the USA. The band are really looking forward to playing Limerick’s newest venue in front of the best fans in the country just before they hit the studio to write and start pre-production on their new album. Says Danny Corona, “Whenever we play Dolan’s the reaction of the Limerick crowd is always electric so we are looking forward to recreating the intimate atmosphere of the Warehouse on a larger scale”. CentreStage Showcase 2011 Sunday, May 1st 7:00pm Location: UCH, University of Limerick The students from Limerick’s Premier Theatre School, under the direction of Richie Ryan, present their 16th annual Showcase production. This year the Youth’s production will you “You’re A Good Man Charlie Brown”, a musical comedy with music and lyrics by Clark Gesner, based on the characters created by cartoonist Charles M. Schulz in his comic strip Peanuts.
