Getting there

Car

Coming from Hamburg, Lübeck, Rostock: On the A20 motorway towards Rostock/Stralsund. Exit at Stralsund/Sassnitz/Insel Rügen and then follow the B96 towards Rügendamm/Rügenbrücke to just before Bergen. Before Bergen, take the B196 towards Binz/Göhren. Enter roundabout at Karow and leave on the second exit. At the Prora traffic lights, turn right towards Binz. After 3 km, turn left towards Binz West. Cross the railway line and then turn immediately right towards Binz West. Follow the road for around 700 m (a number of 90° bends), then turn left down Dünenstrasse and left again after another 400 m (behind the Edeka supermarket) into Proraer Strasse to reach the Hapimag resort.

Coming from Berlin: 1. Via the A19 motorway, exit onto the A20 in the direction of Stralsund/Stettin, then as from Hamburg/Lübeck. 2. Via the A11 motorway, direction of Stettin. At the Uckermark junction, exit onto the A20 in the direction of Lübeck/Stralsund. Follow the B96 to the Stralsund/Sassnitz/Island of Rügen exit and then continue as described for coming from Hamburg/Lübeck.

Alternative during the high season (please tune in to traffic news on NDR 1 MV on UKW). Exit the B96 toward Stahlbrode/Reinberg. Take the Glewitzer car ferry to Rügen. Then follow signs to Garz, Putbus, Vilmnitz and Binz. In Binz, follow Bahnhofstrasse and Jasmunder Strasse, then turn right into Wylichstrasse, go to the end of the road, turn left and you will arrive at the Hapimag resort after approx. 800 m.

Fee-paying car ferry to Rügen (Glewitzer ferry): in service between April and October (no service at other times. Exception: At Christmas and New Year, the ferry is in use if the Baltic is free from ice). First crossing 06.00, last crossing at 21.40 (in autumn 20.10). Ferry leaves every 20 minutes. Alterations possible at any time. Please phone information number for confirmation. Telephone +49 (03831) 26810.

Important: When using a navigation system (GPS), do not enter the postal address "Strandpromenade 66", but "Dünenstrasse 57". You will be guided to the Edeka supermarket. The Hapimag resort is located directly opposite the supermarket.

Rail

IC station Binz. From there, by walking or taxi to the Hapimag resort (approx. 1.0 km). The taxi rank is directly at the station. People arriving by train may have to wait a while at the taxi rank. It is not possible to prebook a taxi on account of the short distance.

Arrival outside reception opening hours

If you arrive outside of reception opening hours, we will leave the key card for your holiday apartment for you.

1. You will find the Digibox to the right of the main entrance door. 2. Enter the first four digits of your membership number and press the # button. Your membership number is on the booking confirmation. 3. Take out the key card and use it to open the main entrance. The key card also gives you access to your holiday apartment. 4. You will find an envelope with further information for you in the postbox next to the reception. 5. You will receive your visitors card when you check in at the reception the next day.
