In the community of Gonzales located in Belmont, lies the Gonzales Sheikers Steel Orchestra Pan Theatre. The theatre was constructed by NGC in 2015 for the purpose of fostering pan literacy, facilitating entrepreneurial activities by the band and providing a space where the youth in the community could engage in learning activities.

Furthermore, sport encourages children to build team spirit, develops mental and physical toughness and encourages good health. Key to NGC’s sporting pillar has been to support the Primary Schools Track and Field Games in the Moruga Zone, and the St. Patrick and Caroni Education District Games.
