Introductory Rites

Entrance Song: From Ashes to the Living Font

1. From ashes to the living font Your Church must journey, Lord, Baptized in grace, in grace renewed By your most holy word.

2. Through fasting, prayer, and charity Your voice speaks deep within, Returning us to ways of truth And turning us from sin.

3. Come, purify our hearts and lives, Cast out our sinful ways; As temples of the Spirit, cleansed,

Restore us for your praise.

Homily

Nicene

I believe in one God, the Father almighty, maker of heaven and earth, of all things visible and invisible.

I believe in one Lord Jesus Christ, the Only Begotten Son of God, born of the Father before all ages. God from God, Light from Light, true God from true God, begotten, not made, consubstantial with the Father; through him all things were made. For us men and for our salvation he came down from heaven,

All bow at the following words up to and including: and became man. and by the Holy Spirit was incarnate of the Virgin Mary, and became man.

For our sake he was crucified under Pontius Pilate, he suffered death and was buried, and rose again on the third day in accordance with the Scripture He ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of the Father. He will come again in glory to judge the living and the dead and his kingdom will have no end.

I believe in the Holy Spirit the Lord the giver of life, who proceeds from the Father and the Son, who with the Father and the Son is adored and glorified, who has spoken through the prophets.

I believe in one, holy, catholic and apostolic Church. I confess one Baptism for the forgiveness of sins and I look forward to the resurrection of the dead and the life of the world to come. Amen

Thank you for continuous support.

We celebrate this with each other, with the Trinity of our faith and with the Universal throughout the world. We are fortunate that we are able to gather and celebrate together through the newest technology of live streaming and recording our Masses for all to participate.

While we are not able to pass the collection baskets until this pandemic is over, we all desire to once again be able to gather in our worship sites of St. Isidore and St. Elizabeth of Hungary once the pandemic has passed. We invite you to join our efforts to keep our churches financially secure, our staff employed, our clergy available, and our properties maintained.

If you are financially able please consider:  Maintaining your weekly or monthly offertory donation.  Sign up for our new online giving program eliminating the need to send in your envelopes or cash. Visit our website to sign up.  Mail your check to St. Isidore or St. Elizabeth.

We thank you for your thoughtful giving and your prayers.

My Jesus, I believe that you are present in the Most Holy Sacrament. I love you above all things and I desire to receive you in my soul. Since I cannot at this moment receive you sacramentally, Come at least spiritually into my heart. I embrace you as if you were already there And unite myself wholly to you. Never permit me to be separated from you. Amen.
