Proposed Treatment Proposed Plant(2) Treatment Plant(1) Conclusion

To meet the increasing demand of Yangon population in 2025, Lagunpyin and Kokkowa river water supply project are necessary to implement in which 100 MGD can be supplied to Yangon. At present, these two projects are being implement to meet the target.

Non Revenue Water Reduction projects should be extended throughout the entire distribution system.

Water treatment facilities need to install in all resources.

Real time monitoring and disinfection facilities is necessary to improve water quality.

Upgrading the existing sanitation facilities and the sewerage system extension project should be timely implemented Thank you very much!
