Notice of Sale through Auction

The National Food Authority (NFA) Regional Office No. 02 invites all interested legitimate corn users/processor duly registered with the Bureau of Animal Industry (BAI) as of Dec. 31 2008 in the Sale through Auction of yellow corn grains (YGN) stored at its various warehouses in NFA , as follows: LOT QTY.(IN BAGS) MINIMUM BID PROVINCE WHSE/LOCATION VARIETY NO. @ 50-kg/bag PRICE/kg NPGC 821

The sale shall be on “ ONE LOT , as-is-where-is and no selection” basis. Offerors shall be required to post bid bond in the form of either cash, manager’s or cashier’s check payable to NFA and issued by a reputable commercial bank equivalent to 10% of the total bid price. Interested buyers shall submit in two (2) copies the following pre- qualification requirements : 1. Letter of Intent to participate signed by the Licensee; 2. Certified photo copy of valid NFA Certificate of Grains Business License/License Plate Sticker and Official Receipt of Payment of License fees valid as of December 31, 2012; 3. Certified Photo Copy of Grains Business License/ Mayor’s Permit; 4. Certificate of Registration from BAI; 5. DTI/SEC/Registration; and 6. Special Power of Attorney (SPA) for single proprietorship or Board Resolution/Secretary’s Certificate for the authorized representative to transact with NFA on behalf of the owner .

Auction terms and conditions and tender forms can be obtained at the Secretariat, NFA Regional Office, Santiago City after paying a non-refundable fee of P 1,500.00 per bidder.

The Sale thru Auction shall be held at the Regional Office Conference Room, Santiago City following the hereunder schedule; ACTIVITIES DATE TIME Issuance of Invitation to July 31- August 6, 2012 8:00 AM-5:00 PM Tender/Tender Form Pre-Auction conference August 7, 2012 9:00 AM Auction/Bidding proper August 9, 2012 9:00 AM

The Committee reserves the right to accept or reject any or all offers, to waive any informalities or defects found therein, and accept only such offers which are most reasonable and advantageous to the NFA. The decision of the Committee as confirmed by the Regional Manager shall be deemed final.
