Exploring the Nambucca Valley

The Nambucca Valley offers some of the most breathtaking scenery to be found anywhere on the East Coast of indeed in Australia itself. Located between the Pacific Ocean on one side, and the mountains of the Great Dividing Range, the landscape of the Nambucca Valley is diverse; from stunning areas of native rain forests to incredibly lush green fertile farming valleys, criss crossed by the and its many tributaries. The drives featured in this brochure offer the visitor the opportunity to easily explore and discover a land of exceptional beauty and take in places of special meaning to the local Dunghutti and Aboriginal peoples.

< Yarriabini National Park Distances shown are progressive from the start of each drive. Some of the drives have sections of unsealed (gravel) roads but with care can be easily enjoyed in an average well maintained family car. Drive to the conditions and consider that adverse weather can cause flooding over low lying areas, roads and causeways and may have caused slippages of embankments and falling trees. Be on the lookout for stock and heavy farm vehicles which also use these roads. Please do not light fires in any area other than a designated BBQ and do not leave rubbish. All images in this brochure were taken on the actual drives.
