2016 McNeese Baseball • vs. No. 16 UL-Lafayette • March 2, 2016 7 HEAD COACH JUSTIN HILL has had 42 student-athletes named to the Southland Conference Commissioner’s Spring Honor Roll as well as 11 total players selected to the SLC All-Academic team. Andrew Guillotte’s success on the field as well as in the classroom helped him earn a spot on the Capital One All-Academic District VI team in 2014. Attendance has grown during Hill’s first two seasons at McNeese. A record total of 21,361 fans attended games at Cowboys Diamond in 2015 along with a school record 712 average spectators per contest. The 2014 season saw 14,189 fans (545 avg.) attend 26 home contests, the highest attendance numbers since the 2010 season and over 4,300 more than the 2013 season.

Hill helped in the revival of the Lake Area Classic in 2014, bringing in national programs such as Missouri and Southern Miss to participate in what was considered as one of the top tournaments in the country during opening weekend.
