ROAD TRAFFIC (TRAFFIC CONTROL) REGULATIONS (Chapter 374) RESTRICTED ZONES IN TONG AND In exercise of the powers vested in me under regulation 14(1)(b) of the Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations, Chapter 374, I hereby direct that with effect from 10.00 a.m. on 17 August 2001, the following road sections in and Kowloon City will be designated restricted zones from 7.00 a.m. to 7.00 p.m. daily (except Sundays and Public Holidays):— (a) the eastern kerbside lane of Devon Road from its junction with Cornwall Street to a point about 25 metres south of the same junction; (b) the western kerbside lane of Devon Road from its junction with Cornwall Street to a point about 45 metres south of the same junction; (c) the section of Junction Road between Waterloo Road and ; (d ) the southern kerbside lane of Broadcast Drive from its junction with Junction Road to a point about 20 metres north of the same junction; (e) the southern kerbside lane of Junction Road from its junction with Broadcast Drive to a point about 65 metres east of the same junction; ( f ) the section of Renfrew Road from its junction with Junction Road to a point about 550 metres south of the same junction; (g) the section of Baptist University Drive from its junction with Renfrew Road to a point about 10 metres east of the same junction; (h) the eastern kerbside lane of Waterloo Road from its junction with Boundary Street to a point about 45 metres north of the same junction; (i) the northern kerbside lane of Boundary Street from a point about 5 metres east of its junction with Ho Tung Road to its junction with Waterloo Road; ( j) the western kerbside lane of Ho Tung Road from its junction with Boundary Street to a point about 80 metres north of the same junction; (k) the eastern kerbside lane of Ho Tung Road from its junction with Boundary Street to a point about 15 metres north of the same junction; (l) the cul-de-sac of Oxford Road; (m) the section of Oxford Road from a point about 130 metres south of its junction with Lancashire Road to a point about 145 metres south of the same junction; (n) the western kerbside lane of La Salle Road from its junction with Boundary Street to a point about 80 metres north of the same junction; and (o) the eastern kerbside lane of Junction Road between West and Nga Tsin Wai Road. Within the restricted zones, drivers of all motor vehicles, except franchised buses and those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from:— (a) picking up or setting down passengers; or (b) loading or unloading goods. The extent of the restricted zones will be indicated by appropriate traffic signs. At the same time, the existing restricted zones on the above road sections as gazetted under G.N. 4693 of 1990, G.N. 1059 of 1984, G.N. 4822 of 1996, G.N. 3471 of 1984, G.N. 3501 of 1993, G.N. 2149 of 1990 and G.N. 3886 of 1992 will be rescinded.
