The field course is set up in three ranges, one target is black and white; the hunter's target is all black with a white dot approximately one to three and one-half inches and the animal course covers the pictures of animals as. targets. The range covers from a bunny shot for 15 to 35 feet to.a aO-yard target. A perfect score for a field range is 560. Mrs. Shultz has shot 240-260-270 and a 279 in Har- risonburg on an indoor range with the perlect score lor indoor shooting being 300. Mr. and Mrs. Shultz go every weekend to matches .within a 60-mile radius of Front Royal. They have also taught archery twice a week for two months this summer at the Bing Crosby Stadium. They have also instructed at the 4-H Camp for the last 10 years. There are 28 archery clubs in Virginia, with 10 clubs in this area. Mr. and Mrs. Shultz have not missed a Virginia State shoot in the past 11 years.
