FEBRUARY-2018
6th-10th Feb 2018- Dr. Nirzar Kulkarni, Dr. Mujahid Siddiqui and Dr. Pallavi Sangode attended FDP on Competency Enhancement organised by Dhanwate National College, Nagpur.
MARCH-2018 22nd March 2018- Dr. Sujit Metre, Dr. Nirzar Kulkarni, Dr. Mujahid Siddiqui and Dr. Pallavi Sangode attended 1 day National Seminar on “ Paradigms of new process of Assessment and Accreditation by NAAC organised by Taywade College Koradi.
27thMarch 2018- DAIMSR organised Annual Award Function to acknowledge the achievements of its students.
APRIL-2018
12th April 2018- ISR Club of DAIMSR organised Project SMILE. Under this students visited “Home for Aged and Handicapped” Uttkhana, Nagpur.
MAY-2018 15th May 2018- - Dr. Nirzar Kulkarni was nominated as a member on the Board of Studies in Business Economics in RTM, Nagpur University. -Dr. Sujit Metre was nominated as a member on the Board of Studies in Business Management in RTM, Nagpur University. - -Dr. Vivek Pimplapure was nominated as a member on the Board of Studies in Accounts in RTM, Nagpur University.
JULY-2018 11th July 2018- Dr. Nirzar Kulkarni was nominated as a member of Board of Studies, Accounts and Statistics of Shri Ramanand Teerth Marathwada University, Nanded. AUGUST-2018 4th August 2018-DAIMSR formally installed the 32nd MBA batch through the Induction/Installation Programme.
25th August, 2018-DAIMSR organised Aagman- 2018, Freshers Party, to welcome the Sem I students.
SEPTEMBER-2018 Market Daud activity was conducted under the ISR club of DAIMSR wherein the students sold rakhis and diyas made by the differently abled students of Sandhya Sanwardhan Sanstha.
15th September 2018- Dr. Ashutosh Paturkar conducted MDP for Doctors. Duration of this programme is from September 2018 to Feburary 2019.
20th September 2018-Sem I students participated in Business Plan Competition organised by Tirpude Institute of Management Education, Nagpur. Saakshi Chacherkar, Sonal Gupta, Mayur Patel and Harshita Khobragade won the Ist Prize.
24th September 2018-DAIMSR organised AABHA-2018. The theme of event was Personality Development for Women.
26th September 2018-DAIMSR organised ACUMEN, AAVHAN and ALUMNI Meet.
27th September 2018- Sem I students of DAIMSR participated in the event ‘Why should I hire you?’ organised by Tirpude Institute of Management Education, Nagpur. Shreya Prabhune won the 2nd prize.
27th & 28th September 2018- Dr. Ashutosh Paturkar conducted programme on
Personality Development “ Vyaktimatwa Vikas ” at Koradi Thermal Corporation Ltd.
OCTOBER-2018 3rd October 2018- Sem I students participated in the event Management Solutions to Social Problems organised by Tirpude Institute of Management Education, Nagpur. Sanket Saraf, Romit Themse and Tejashree Kale won the 2nd prize.
14th October 2018-DAIMSR conducted ADVAY-2018 Koradi walk. Around 100 students participated in the walk.
10th October 2018- Students of ISR club of DAIMSR participated in Nirmalaya Project during Ganpati Visarjan which was organised by Rotary Club of Nagpur Fort.
20th October 2018- Dr. Sujit Metre was appointed as the reviewer of Scopus Indexed Journal.
21st 2018- Dr. Nirzar Kulkarni was appointed as chairman of the Board of Studies in Computer Application in RTM, Nagpur University.
22nd and 23rdOctober 2018- Dr. Ashutosh Paturkar conducted a training course on Leadership and Team building at Koradi Thermal Corporation Ltd.
27th October 2018- Resource conservation day was observed in DAIMSR .On this day, the students and staff members pledged to make judicious use of environmentally sensitive resources such as fuel, electricity, water, etc. Minimum use of personal vehicles, electricity, water and LPG was done in the campus on this day.
29th Oct to 3rd Nov 2018-2018- Bank of India (BOI) Nagpur Zone had observed Vigilance Awareness Week. BOI endeavours to promote integrity, transparency & accountability in Public Life through observance of Vigilance Awareness Week. In order to create the awareness among the students on the ill
effects of corruption, BOI & NSS wing of DAIMSR conducted Elocution & poster presentation competition for the students of DAIMSR.
NOVEMBER-2018
16th November 2018- Dr. Nirzar Kulkarni was nominated as a member on the Board of Studies of Business Management in North Maharashtra University, Jalgaon.
24thNovember 2018- Dr. Vijay Joshi was awarded Best Professor In Entrepreneurship Development by ICBM-AMB, Hyderabad, Telangana.
DECEMBER-2018
DAIMSR signed an MOU with A. I. Analytics. DAIMSR has a Industry sponsored Analytics Lab where stalwarts in Data Science from TCS, HCL, Infosys share their expertise with students.This will enable the students to acquire skills in the field of Business Analytics, Tableau, R, etc which will add a substantial weightage to their qualifications.
13th December 2018- Members of the Environment Conservation Cell of DAIMSR visited the "Biodiversity Park" situated at Raj Bhavan. The visit was guided by the officers of Bombay Natural History Society (BNHS) which is a renowned NGO in the field of environment conservation.
15th December 2018- ISR club of DAIMSR organised a Gender Sensitization Programme for Sem II students. Mrs Swati Naidu was the resource person.
18th December 2018- Dr. Ashutosh Paturkar conducted lectures in UGC sponsored short-term course on Soft Skills and personality.
JANUARY -2019 2nd -4th Januray 2019- Dr. Ashutosh Paturkar attended conference and workshop on Case Study organised by IMT, Nagpur.
3rd January 2019- ISR Club of DAIMSR celebrated World Braille Day. On this occasion the members of the club visited Mundle Blind School.
4th January Avishkar-2019 University Level competition held at Nagpur University, Prof. Pallawi Ughade and Prof. Amardip Kurukwar participated, Prof. Pallawi Ughade got first prize under TH category and Prof. Amardip Kurukwar got first prize under PPG category. DAIMSR 2nd Year BBA student Chetan Bhiwapurkar also won 1st prize in UG (Commerce, Management and Law) category.
15th January 2019- Dr. Vijay Joshi was appointed as President-Maharashtra for International Leadership Development Council, Delhi.
18th January 2019- Avishkar-2018 Inter University Research Conclave held at Gondwana University, Prof. Pallawi Ughade and Prof. Amardip Kurukwar participated, Prof. Pallawi Ughade got second prize under TH category. DAIMSR 2nd Year BBA student Chetan Bhiwapurkar also won 1st prize in UG (Commerce . Management and Law) category.
12th January2019- Prof. Hemant Deshmukh cleared NET-Management.
21-25 January 2019-Dr.Pushparaj Kulkarni and Dr. Vandana Rao attended 5 days FDP on Finance And Accounts Operations organised by TCS, Nagpur.
24th January 2019- DAIMSR celebrated National Girls’ Child Day. On this occasion students visited many private Hospitals and greeted the parents who had baby girl in the previous 2/3 days.
28th Jan-1st Feb 2019- Sem II students attended the SAHAS CAMP for 3 days. The main objective of conducting this camp is to develop team spirit and coordination among the students to make them ready for undertaking future challenges and obstacles in life.
PLACEMENT 2016-2018 BATCH
DAIMSR has maintained its reputation as being the most preferred destination for recruitment amongst Management institutes of Central India. More than 46 companies visited the in the year 2017-2018 for final placement at DAIMSR. These included some of the top brands from various sectors across India such as Oppo Mobiles, ICICI Securities, HDFC Bank, ITC Ltd., Karvy, Byju’s, D-Mart, E- Clerx and many others.
The highest salary offered this year was Rs 7 lakhs per annum CTC by BYJU’S and the average salary offered was 2.78 lakhs per annum.
Total 171 students had registered for placements out of which 119 students were placed successfully. Out of these 119 students, 354 students received offeres from more than one company. The Final placement percentage was 70%.
42% students were offered profiles in Finance, 35% in Marketing, 14% in HRM and 9% in other domains.
SPORTS
This year students of DAIMSR had participated in various University Sports event. Students had participated in various sports like volleyball, badminton, chess, cricket, water polo, football, basketball, shooting, etc.
Major Achievements:
Volleyball team of the college secured 2nd position in Krida Mohatsav- 2018 Pratik Gedam was appointed as a Refree for Khasdar Chashak Badminton Championship-2019 Matches which was scheduled at Mankapur Sports Complex from 17th to 22nd Jan, 2019. Ku. Riya Bankar was selected to represent Rashtrasant Tukdoji Maharaj Nagpur University HAND BALL [WOMEN] team in WEST ZONE INTER UNIVERSITY HAND BALL Championships was held at PUNE
Organized by SAVITRIBAI PHULE PUNE UNIVERSITY. Conducted by Maharashtriya Chandrashekhar Agashe College of Physical Education, Mukund Nagar Cultekadi, Pune The competition was held on 29 / 10 / 2018 TO 01 / 11 / 2018 . Abhishek Sahu was selected in 10 mtrs Air Rifle he was selected to represent Rashtrasant Tukdoji Maharaj Nagpur University SHOOTING [MEN & WOMEN] team in ALL INDIA INTER UNIVERSITY SHOOTING Championships scheduled to be held at CHANDIGARH Organized by PANJAB UNIVERSITY. The competition was held on 31 / 10 / 2018 TO 05 / 11 /2018 . Ku. Mugdha Amraotkar, Ku. Aakanksha Paigwar Ku. Shreya Dandekar was selected to represent Rashtrasant Tukdoji Maharaj Nagpur University BASKETBALL [WOMEN] team in WEST ZONE INTER UNIVERSITY BASKETBALL Championships scheduled to be held at GWALIOR Organized by L. N. I. P. E. The competition was held on 20/12/2018 TO 24/12/2018.
NSS- Major Events:
Dhamma Chakra Pravartan Din: This year NSS students of DAIMSR worked as volunteers during Dhamma Chakra Pravartan Din Celebration at Deekshabhoomi which is a pilgrimage center of Buddhism in India. They have worked day & night from 17th Oct. 2018 & 18th Oct. 2018. NSS students had helped & guided lakhs of Ambedkar’s followers who visited Deekshabhoomi on the occasion of Dhamma Chakra Pravartan Din Celebration. On the occasion of Dhamma Chakra Pravartan Din celebration NSS students helped Nagpur Police as well. They have worked as "Police Mitra" & helped Nagpur Police in maintaining discipline at Deekshabhoomi campus. All the NSS volunteers had received a word of Appreciation from Nagpur Police, & P.P Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Smarak Samiti Deeksha Bhoomi, Nagpur in recognition of their tireless efforts, commitment &
support to the police department in maintaining Law & order & discipline in 62nd Dhamma Chakra Pravartan Din.
Swachhata Hi Seva-2018: NSS wing of our institute had participated in the Swachhata Hi Seva-2018 Campaign in a big way. We have done the below mentioned activities on the footpath of South Ambazari Road starting from the transformer next to Laxmi Vaibhav Complex , Laxmi Nagar till the entrance gate of Dr. Ambedkar Sports complex, Deekshabhoomi, Nagpur. Cleaning of the area Paintings on the compound wall promoting Swachhata He Seva-2018 Tree Plantation & beautification

Research @DAIMSR
Dr. Nirzar Kulkarni and Dr. Sujit Metre were nominated by the Vice- Chancellor as External Experts for the Centre of Higher Learning and Research of Tripude Institute of Management, Nagpur.
Members of Faculty of DAIMSR published research papers in various National and International Journals and Conferences.Total 70 research papers were published in Journals and Conference Proceedings in 2018.
Semester II students Deepak Urkude and Saurabh Akrate presented a paper titled ‘Eligible but not Employable” and won 1st prize in Dhanwate National College, Inter-colliegate Paper presentation Competetion.
6 research papers in various National and International Journals were published by the students of DAIMSR in 2018.
Miscelleneous
Members of faculty worked on various Selection committees, Syllabus restructing and Moderation boards and Enquiry Committee of RTMNU, Nagpur. Members of faculty conducted various training sessions for renowned organizations like Western Coalfields Ltd., Powergrid, National Power Training Institute, Public Health Institute, NADP ,Tata Aeronautics Ltd, HRD Cell Lecture Series at DACN any many others. Members of faculty pursued various certifications courses from NPTEL having FDP status as per AICTE norms.
