We believe a car can be both great to drive and comfortable, so we built the XC60 to strike that balance between control, precision and comfort. It’s a car that rewards the way you drive with response and control. A car for long distances and memorable journeys. The sophisticated double-wishbone front suspension and our innova tive integral-axle rear suspension work together to put you in control of every drive. You get a car that responds to your commands, but doesn’t sacrifice the comfort you need. Full air suspension makes the XC60 even more capable, isolating the car’s body from the road and soaking up uneven surfaces. By keeping the ride height constant, the air suspension increases stability, making the XC60 easier and more predictable to control. The car body’s height is adjusted according to its drive mode and speed. In Comfort or ECO drive mode, the body is lowered 10–20mm at higher speeds, using less fuel and making it quieter. In Dynamic mode the body is lowered constantly by 20mm in order to enhance handling and road holding.
