Recommended Reading RECOMMENDED READING The Power of Awareness by Neville Goddard The Power of Awareness also includes a special bonus work, Awakened Imagination, originally published in 1954. This two-in-one volume forms a brilliant introduction and user’s guide to the practical philosophy of a great spiritual thinker. This Thing Called You by Ernest Holmes One of Ernest Holmes’s cornerstone works, This Thing Called You is an intimate guide through which readers learn the important lesson of how they are an immutable part of the flow of life, and how they may fulfill the longing, within all of us, to live more fully. The Holy Bible (King James Version) The Authorized King James Version of the Holy Bible is God’s providentially appointed Word for the whole world which reveals the name of the Father as “Jehovah”, and the name of His Son, “Jesus”, in whom there is salvation, and the name of the “Holy Ghost”, who also manifests Himself in true traditional Pentecostalism. Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill This edition of Napoleon Hill's Classic Think and Grow Rich is a reproduction of Napoleon Hill's personal copy of the first edition, the ONLY original version recommended by The Napoleon Hill Foundation, originally printed in March of 1937. As a Man Thinketh by James Allen In Allen’s classic work, he writes a fascinating exploration of the connection between mind, body, and action. Using the metaphor of a garden, Allen teaches the reader how to weed out the negativity and plant useful, positive thoughts in the mind instead. You Squared by Price Pritchett you2 promotes an unconventional strategy for achieving breakthrough performance. This powerful new method replaces the concept of attaining gradual, incremental success through massive effort. Instead, it puts forth 18 key components for building massive success while expending less effort. The Science of Getting Rich by Wallace Wattles The Science of Getting Rich will show you how to overcome emotional baggage or negative circumstances in order to attract wealth and success – in all its forms – into your life. Within the pages of this powerful book, Wattles goes directly to the source of the Law of Attraction, and in plain and easy-to-understand language, teaches you how to use it to maximum advantage. www.TroyRChadwick.com Psycho Cybernetics by Maxwell Maltz Cybernetics (loosely translated from the Greek): “a helmsman who steers his ship to port.” Psycho-Cybernetics is a term coined by Dr. Maxwell Maltz, which means, “steering your mind to a productive, useful goal so you can reach the greatest port in the world, peace of mind.” You Were Born Rich by Bob Proctor In You Were Born Rich, Bob Proctor has done it again, this time taking you step by step to the surprising discovery that success is not always reaching out for something that you don't have but rather only reaching over and rearranging the pieces already there. Savy Wisdom by Peggy McColl We're all faced with challenges in our lives which in the moment often seem unsurmountable and hopeless. That was the case for Sophie, a high school student who found herself sitting on a park bench one torturous autumn day, ready to end her life and her struggle. In Sophie's moment of truth, a stranger suddenly appeared next to her, offering his handkerchief which was embroidered with these words: "If you want your life to change, you must change." The Demand Principle by Peggy McColl DEMAND is such a misunderstood word. It is a request in which you ask for what you want, knowing the outcome you desire will happen without question or further discussion… As if it is already done. You can have, do, or be anything you want within the laws of nature. The Power of Your Subconscious Mind by Dr. Joseph Murphy The Power of Your Subconscious Mind is one of the most beloved and inspirational self-help guides of all time. Having sold millions of copies, this bestselling book, complete and with the original text will show you how changing your thought patterns can produce dramatic improvements in all aspects of your life, from money, to relationships, to jobs, to success and happiness. You Too can be Prosperous by Robert Russell That’s it! You just took the first step towards a prosperous life. By saying these three simple words, you opened the window of prosperity in your mind. The energy your thoughts create as a result of this time-tested concept is so big, so powerful, and so irresistible that your life will become a magnet attracting success, employment, and wealth of every sort directly to you, where it belongs. Your Invisible Power by Genevieve Behrend RESPECT, TRUST, COMMITMENT. These are the cornerstones of a dedicated relationship between a teacher and a student. For a passionate student yearning to learn and understand the essence of a subject, they must demonstrate these traits before a teacher will take them under their wing. In this case, the teacher was Thomas Troward of Cornwall England and the student was Genevieve Behrend. www.TroyRChadwick.com .

  • Your Invisible Power
Your Invisible Power Genevieve Behrend ABOUT THE AUTHOR Genevieve Behrend was the only personal student of Thomas Troward the master of "Mental Science." "Your Invisible Power" is a powerful, yet simple and easy guide. This book can teach you how to use the power of visualization and other processes taught by Thomas Troward to transform your life. Behrend says, "We all possess more power and greater possibilities than we realize, and visualizing is one of the greatest of these powers. It brings other possibilities to our observation. When we pause to think for a moment, we realize that for a cosmos to exist at all, it must be the outcome of a cosmic mind." From 1912 to 1914, Genevieve Behrend’s life focused solely on the wisdom and philosophy of Thomas Troward (1847- 1916) who’s influential and compelling ideas provided much of the groundwork to the spiritual philosophy known today as New Thought. As the awareness of “mental science” was taking shape, Troward imparted his personal insight to only one pupil who could perpetuate this knowledge and share it with the world. YOUR INVISIBLE POWER remains Behrend's most powerful and popular work. After her studies with Troward, Behrend began her mission in New York City where she established and ran The School of the Builders until 1925. She then established another school in Los Angeles before touring other major cities throughout North America for the next 35 years as a celebrated lecturer, teacher, and practitioner of "Mental Science". 2 Your Invisible Power A Presentation of the Mental Science of Judge Thomas Troward By GENEVIEVE BEHREND Originally Published in 1921 by THE ELIZABETH TOWNE CO.

Published by As A Man Thinketh.net PO Box 2087 St. Augustine, FL 32085 USA 2 FOREWORD I looked around upon the world, and saw that it was shadowed by sorrow and scorched by the fierce fires of suffering. And I looked for the cause. I looked around, but could not find it. I looked in books, but could not find it. I looked within, and found there both the cause and the self-made nature of that cause. I looked again, and deeper, and found the remedy. I found one Law, the Law of Love; one Life, the Life of adjustment to that Law; one Truth, the Truth of a conquered mind and a quiet and obedient heart. And I dreamed of writing a book which should help men and women, whether rich or poor, learned or unlearned, worldly or unworldly, to find within themselves the source of all success, all happiness, all accomplishment, all truth. And the dream remained with me, and at last became substantial; and now I send it forth into the world on its mission of healing and blessedness, knowing that it cannot fail to reach the homes and hearts of those who are waiting and ready to receive it.

  • Law of Attraction (New Thought)
Law of attraction (New Thought) In the New Thought philosophy, the Law of Attraction is the belief that positive or negative thoughts bring positive or negative experiences into a person's life.[1][2] The belief is based on the ideas that people and their thoughts are made from pure energy, and that through the process of like energy attracting like energy a person can improve their health, wealth, and personal relationships. Advocates generally combine cognitive reframing techniques with affirmations and creative visualization to replace limiting or self-destructive ("negative") thoughts with more empowered, adaptive ("positive") thoughts. A key component of the philosophy is the idea that in order to effectively change one's negative thinking patterns, one must also "feel" (through creative visualization) that the desired changes have already occurred. This combination of positive thought and positive emotion is believed to allow one to attract positive experiences and opportunities by achieving resonance with the proposed energetic law.[3] The Law of Attraction has no scientific basis[4] and has been dubbed a pseudoscience.[5] A number of researchers have criticized the misuse of scientific concepts by its proponents.[4][6][7][8] Contents History Descriptions Philosophical and religious basis Criticism Prominent supporters See also Notes Sources External links History The New Thought (Law of Attraction Origins) grew out of the teachings of Phineas Quimby in the early 19th century. Early in his life, Quimby was diagnosed with tuberculosis. However, medicinal treatment wasn't working, so he began carriage riding through his hometown, Lebanon, New Hampshire. He then regained his health and recovered, an event that prompted his study of "mind over body".[9] Although he never used the words 'Law of Attraction', he explained this in a statement that captured the concept in the field of health: the trouble is in the mind, for the body is only the house for the mind to dwell in, and we put a value on it according to its worth.
