Spaten Oktoberfestbier Ur-Märzen Years ago Oktoberfest beers were brewed in March “Ur-Marzen” Because it was too hot to brew in the summer as the would spoil, these brews were kept in cold storage over the spring and summer months. Spaten is the original of the style. Spaten, pours a clear light amber in color. Biscuity malts and noble hops in the nose. Notes of caramel and sweetness, particularly in the finish. ABV: 5.9% 7
