Conditions of entry. . 1. Please note - all competitors must agree and abide by the rules below and accept the conditions to be able to proceed to the Entries on Global Entries Online. Competitors please ensure you familiarise yourself with the rules below. By entering AHC Young Stars of the Future - you agreed to abide by the conditions below. 2. AHC is not affiliated with any Societies and is a stand-alone group. AHC is not subject to the rules of the Society of Australia. Please read AHC rules carefully. 3. All Competitors/Handlers/Owners entering must be either a current financial member Arabian Horse Connection or pay Day membership. 4. Please contact AHC if you require any assistance with entering or if you require a payment plan. 5. height certificate must be produced at the office when collecting exhibitor notes, for horses competing in height classes 6. Show updates prior and on the day of the show will be via AHC Facebook page 7. This event will run regardless of weather conditions. Should the day experience unseasonal weather, it is the sole choice of the competitor, handlers, riders, owners & spectators to attend and compete. No refunds will be entered into for any reasons for competitor not competing in circumstances regarding weather. 11. The AHC Committee reserves the right to interpret all questions and conditions and shall make any relevant decisions in regard to or arising from any incident at or pertaining to this Show, without claim for damages or recourse of any kind. Any questions not covered in the Conditions of Entry will be decided by AHC Committee. The decision will be final. 12. All competitors, handlers, assistants, spectators, Trade Stand employees compete/attend the AHC Young Stars of the Future at Hawkesbury Grounds, Clarendon at their OWN RISK to their person, property, transport and other items. All horses shown at own risk to owner/handler/rider. The

AHC Committee will not be liable for any injury or incident arising from this event. It is a condition of entry to accept this decision. 13. Entry and Competition in the AHC Young Stars of the Future is voluntary. By Entry it is the Absolute Liability of all participants to agree to be bound by the decisions of The AHC Show Committee in accordance with all Rules applicable to the Competition. 14. Entry to this Event shall constitute an agreement and affirmation by the Exhibitor(s)/Owner(s), Responsible Officer (which includes Lessee(s) / Manager / Rider / Handler) to compete subject to and in accordance with the AHC Competition / Rules and Conditions applicable to this Event. 15. Any Incidents of non-compliance with the Rules and/or instructions of Show Officials will result in disciplinary action by the AHC Committee. 16. Online Entries must be fully completed through Global Entries Online. Entries will only be accepted from Owners / Exhibitors / Lessees / Competitors 17. AHC Young Stars of the Future Committee reserves the right to refuse any entry, without assigning any reason, to any claim made against the AHC Young Stars of the Future should an entry be refused 18. In the unlikely event this show would only be postponed if a catastrophic Fire, Weather warning or Health Pandemic was issued by relevant Government Authorities and whereby the Showground Officials closed the showgrounds to the public. An alternate date of the planned event would be sort if possible, for the competition to continue. If cancellation of the event is inevitable competitors will receive a full refund less any Global processing fees (or if previously entered through myridinglife.com.au, registration and stripe processing fee) 19. All horses competing in this Event shall be registered with Arabian Horse Society of Australia - Any horse found to be competing with falsely provided registration or membership details will be immediately disqualified from the event and the Name of the Horse & responsible persons will be published on the AHC website 20. Any horses entering and competing at the AHC Young Stars of the Future who have required veterinary care prior and received substances, which may be shown in a random swabbing test - a statutory declaration must be submitted to AHC prior to the competition date. This information will be kept confidential by the AHC Committee and only used should the horse in question be selected for swabbing. 21. The AHC Show Committee reserves the right to change any Judge without notice. 22. The AHC Committee reserves the right to alter the Program, Judges and any other matters pertaining to this Show without notice. 23. A protest can only be placed for alleged violations of the Rules. 24. Protests must be delivered “in writing” to the AHC Young Stars of the Future Show Committee, no later than one hour after the Class in question. A $100.00 Protest Fee must accompany the Protest and will be forfeited if the Protest is not upheld. The AHC committee will adjudicate, in private, on any Protests. The AHC Young Stars of the Future reserve the right to call any relevant witnesses for consideration in their deliberations. Information received for any protests will remain confidential within the AHC Young Stars of the Future Committee and outcomes only divulged to those in question and the relevant ring Judge. The decisions of the AHC Young Stars of the Future Protest Committee shall be final. General Competition Rules 25. There are NO qualifications requirements needed to enter the AHC Young Stars of the Future. 26. Children Under the age of 18 years must wear a helmet (meeting recognised Safety Standards)., with safety harness - e.g Charles Owen/Derby etc. 27. Adult riders MUST wear a helmet (meeting recognised Safety Standards), with safety harness. 28. All Junior Riders competing in Rider Class events or Leading Rein will receive a ribbon/prize, regardless of placing 29. All riders regardless of competing in an event or practising must be wearing a helmet. 30. A 'Youth' is a person who will be under the age of 18 years on the Day of the Show. Those aged 18 on the day are Adult Riders. 31. Show Hunters - must wear a plain browband. Time may be allowed by the Judges and Stewards for bridle swaps.

32. In Show Hunter events - the judges may ask competitors for a hand gallop. This is to be done at a safe pace and we ask competitors not to be irresponsible in their speed of pace and to be mindful of other competitors. Any rider who does not feel comfortable with the workout will need to express their wishes to the judge, for their decision for ongoing judging. 33. Judges officiating at the AHC Show are under no obligation to award a placing if they consider such placing not up to standard 34. Young Stars of the Future will consist of 3 rings. Judges will not be assigned to a specific ring and will rotate throughout the show. Judges names will be chosen out of a hat on the day of competition to confirm what ring they will commence in. Rotation will be guided by ring 1, other rings will follow at time of the rotation regardless of class. Ring 3 on Sunday will be excluded from Judge rotation 35. Entries open for AHC members on Friday 15th January 6pm – Please request your special code. 36. To compete all members must be a member of Arabian Horse Connection or pay a $20 per day Show membership 37. Entries open for other competitors on the 30th January 20 and all entries close on 1st April 20. 38. Late Entries will be taken until 8th April 8pm with an additional $50 per horse late fee. 39. In the event that you have entered early and due to veterinary reasons (with certificate) your horse needs to be scratched, a horse can be swapped at no charge up until close of entries. Breed Class Awards: Champion, Reserve Champion and Top 5 (where numbers warrant), Other classes will be placed 1st to 3rd 42. Age is calculated at time of show for Youth competitors, Handler 4yrs of age and under 18yrs, Rider 5yrs of age to under 18yrs and Lead rein, 3yrs of age to under 8yrs of age 47. Youth competing in open classes, it is the responsibility of the parent/guardian to ensure a suitable exhibit is selected. No stallions or colts will be allowed. 48. All Youth competing in Youth and Youth Rider classes must wear short jodhpur boots. Youth competing in open events including dressage may wear any approved riding boots. 49. Junior horse is 3 years and under and Senior horse is 4 years and over 50. Age is calculated on 1st August for horses 51. Leading rein are not eligible to compete in any other age bracket of that section 52. Horses competing in youngstock are eligible to compete in other rings. 53. Anyone wishing to take advantage of members prices must be a 2019/20 member of Arabian Horse Connection. Please note renewal is 1st July 2020 54. Pre-entry is required via global entries online 55. Late entries will be taken up until the 8th April only until 8pm. All exhibitors must pay administration fees, processing fee and an additional $50 per horse late fee. Late entries may not be catalogued. 56. Non-Pro Halter classes consist of two types, one for owner of horse to compete and one for open. Any Non-Pro can show anyone's horse in open non-pro classes. Competitors competing in Non-Pro Owner classes may compete in Non-Pro Open classes. Non-Pro forms must be completed and handed in at the office when picking up exhibitor packs. 57. API may compete in all Youth classes. API are excluded from competing in breed classes and supreme awards 58. Dual registered classes are not eligible for supreme awards and second registration must be

emailed when entry has been completed on line. 59. Arabian Horse Connection Members High Point **NEW** To compete in our new highpoint awards both Rider/Handler and Horse must be registered with Arabian Horse Connection $50 to nominate with the split $30 into prize pool and $20 to AHC. The money from the registration of horses is paid out to the winners at Double Diamond Arabian Showcase and is awarded to the highest point Purebred and Derivative winners. The money is pooled and split evenly across both registries. AHC Members classes marked with an asterisk* will receive double points. Members High Points are accumulated from 2020 Young stars of the future and 2020 Double Diamond Arabian Showcase. 1st place = 15 points, 2nd place = 10 points, 3rd place = 5 points. Registration cards must be completed and signed off by ring steward on the day of show. Points can also be collected from Shoalhaven All breed Show in October 2020. Look out for further details and other show opportunities to collect points. 60. Stable cleaning fee is not compulsory but if you would like it cleaned out so you receive your bond back please select it on your entry. 61. A ground fee is charged per day to assist us in paying for the venue, this keeps our entry prices 62. Entries are via global entries online, all entries, memberships, futurities and Members high point jackpot will be subject to Globals commission fee on entry. 63. AHC Financial members will receive a discount at the end of their entry. 64. Competitor Responsibility - a) It is the Competitor’s/Exhibitor’s responsibility to ensure eligibility for a class. 65. Where any ineligibility to compete may occur, the Competitor/Exhibitor (not the judge) should withdraw from the class/event. Competitor/Exhibitor/Owner, should not compete under any Judge where a breach of these Rules may occur. It is the responsibility of the Competitor/Exhibitor to ascertain who is the Judge of any class/event he/she intends to compete in. Where a conflict may occur, the onus, in the first instance, is on the Competitor/Exhibitor to abide by the Rules and withdraw from competition. In the second instance, a Judge should not knowingly judge an ineligible entrant. Ignorance will not be accepted as a defence for breach of the Rule. 66. Any dealings between judges and competitors from 1st January 2020 for Horse Purchase, Showing or Preparation of a horse, Training/Lessons for Horse or Rider, Business transactions where money exchanges hands for the fore mentioned reasons or Family matters (related by blood or marriage) will deem a competitor ineligible to compete. Social occasions will not be considered formal interaction. Gifts or product giving will not be considered business transactions. 67. A Competitor/Exhibitor or a member of their family shall not approach a Judge with regard to a decision, unless they first obtain permission from the Ring Steward. The Judge or Official may refuse the request. A representative of AHC shall remain present during any such discussion/meeting. 68. Any alleged acts of cruelty are to be reported to the AHC Committee in writing. The statement referring to the alleged cruelty should be supported by signed statements from two witnesses. The matter will be dealt with in a confidential manner with AHC Officials. 69. A Competitor/Exhibitor shall at all times behave in a proper and respectful manner to Judges, Show Officials and their fellow competitors. 70. It is the onus is on the Competitor/Exhibitor to ensure that the Horse/Rider/Handler is eligible for any class entered and/or competed in. 71. Falsification of any information on any documentation (including entry forms) supplied to AHC shall be considered a Breach of Rules 72. Any defaced or altered Certificate or any Certificate containing false information shall be deemed to be invalid. 73. Any invalid Registration or Height Certificate shall render the horse ineligible to compete the current AHC Show and possibly future events. Arabian Horse Connection - Young Stars of the Future– Conditions of entry. 74. Any Owner, Rider, Handler, Competitor or Responsible officer deemed to have provided incorrect

entry information, intentionally compete in a class where they are ineligible or not abide by the Rules and Regulations of the AHC Event, may be asked to leave grounds and disqualified without refund. 75. An AHC Official, the Ring Steward and or Judge may request any unruly horse be removed from the ring and or grounds. The competition should not continue until the horse is removed as requested. 76. There will be no fraternisation between Competitor and Judge during the Show. 77. Should a rider have more than one horse entered in an event - a Strapper will be permitted to enter the ring to hold a horse whilst and rider competes on their other mounts. In Championship events, one Horse one rider at all times including presentation. 78. Martingales, any kinds of gadgets (bearing, side, running, balance reins etc), any kind of boots or bandages, any form of blinkers are forbidden. 79. Whips must have a leather keeper at least 5cm long and 2cm wide and must not exceed 72cm in length, excluding the leather keeper (flap). 80. Spurs other than dummy spurs exceeding 2cm in length are not permitted. 81. Unsafe, cruel, ill-fitting or unsuitable gear or saddlery must be replaced or removed at the request of the Judge, Ring Steward or Show Official. Failure to comply with such a request will mean the horse and/or rider is ineligible to compete. 82. Responsible Officer - Is a person, who must be the Owner or Lessee or Exhibitor of the horse and is the person deemed responsible for the horse in respect to these Rules. 83. Ringside Instruction or Tuition - Instruction of horse or rider in a small group or individually during an event, if requested by the Judge will result in the horse/rider being disqualified from the event. 84. Publication of Results and Photos from this event. It is a condition of entry that all competitors, owners, responsible officers and those associated with horses being exhibited at the AHC Young Stars of the Future consent to their results and any competition related photos being published on the AHC Official Websites or any other media source for the purposes of result reporting and current and future event promotion. Program of Events - AHC Young Stars of the Future 85. The Three (3) Official AHC Show Horse Judges will rotate to judge the Youth, Young stock and Non Pro events for the Young Stars of the Future. 86. The AHC Show Committee reserve the right to swap or change any judges for the judging of Supreme Champion, in the event of sickness, early departure from the event or other unforeseen circumstances 87. All other events in the AHC YSOF program will be judged solely by the listed Judge in the ring program. 88. The Judges decision is final. 89. AHC have tried to ensure minimal class clashes will occur in our scheduling. Should you see that a class you have entered may clash - please advise the Ring Stewards as soon as possible. Our Ring Stewards in consultation with the Judge(s) will use their discretion on the time allowed for competitors to hold up any of the rings. Championship Events will not be held for competitors if they are not presented in the ring for the commencement of the event. Please note the Ring Steward's decision will be final 90. The AHC Show Committee reserve the right to add or alter any classes to the show schedule at any time or during the competition day. 91. In the event of Classes having large numbers entered, judges will have catered for them additional ribbons should they wish to split classes further. This will be entirely the discretion of the Judge/ Steward and confirmation received to the Ring Steward. 92. In the event that a Ring may finish early and others still have many events to be judged – The Show Committee may choose to allow the finished Judge to take on classes from other rings, to ensure a timely finish for all competitors especially prior to the judging of Grand Champions. Should this occur, competitors will be advised by our announcer with time allowed for them to prepare for any changes. Horse Height Classes - Measuring Certificates & Proof of Registration/Memberships.

93. For the 2020 Show please note:- NO PENDING Registrations and NO PENDING Memberships will be accepted. Full, current and financial details must be up to date at the time of entering this event. 94. All Horses entering and competing in the AHC Young Stars of the Future where Height Classes are specified must hold a current Height Certificate with either the EA, SHC or an official measurement document providing the horses current height. Proof of height will be requested at time of entering. Should any protests result on the day of competition where a horses height is questioned - it is a condition of entry that any horse not holding a current height certificate or proof of height card - be measured on the day for the purposes the class entered. 95. The most recent Height Certificate in possession of the Rider/Exhibitor will be the one used in the event of a protest. Consultation with SHC & EA will take place to ensure of validity. 96. Competitors will be required to have all current registration papers and Society/Association current membership cards and Height Certificates in the event of any protests. Registration details have been lodged online when entering - copy proof may still be asked by any AHC Officials on the day. All competitors must be current financial members of a society, including insurance and public liability to be eligible to compete. 97. Horses competing in Ridden Events must be a minimum of 3 years of age as at 1st August 98. The Age of riders is that on the day of competition for this event. Arabian Horse Connection - Young Stars of the Future– Conditions of entry. 99. A 'Youth' is a person who will be under the age of 18 years on the Day of the Show. Those aged 18 on the day are Adult Riders. 100. In classes that cater for Stallions in both Led and Ridden - the stallion must be kept under control at all times. Competitors/owners of stallions are requested to be mindful of their stallion’s behaviour towards other horses in their classes. In practice or marshalling areas, if handlers are concerned, we asked them to alert those near to them that a stallion is in the vicinity. Stallions can only be handled or ridden by an adult aged 18 or over. 101. Newcomer - Is a horse that has not competed under saddle, excluding racing, prior to 1st January 2019. Horse will be required to be shown in a snaffle . This includes not to have been shown under saddle at ANY events, including Pony Club, Gymkhana's, Dressage etc. 102. Exhibitors must choose to compete either as a Show Horse or Show Hunter - NOT BOTH. This applies for events such as Newcomer, Preliminary, Amateur, Youth, Owner Rider & Led Events. You must decide whether your horse is an Open Horse or Show Hunter. 103. Non Pro Rider Owner - The Rider/Leader Owner of the horse competing in these events for the past 3 years has/have not derived any fee, sponsorship, gift or reward or be or have been in any way subsidised or reimbursed for his/her services connected in any respect whatsoever with Coaching, Training, Riding or Showing of any horse for any other person.. The horse shown in a Non Pro Owner Class must be owned and exhibited by the rider who is a Non Pro and/or a member of the Rider’s Immediate Family, for a period of not less than 90 Days. The horse must not have been shown OR ridden OR trained by a trainer/professional within the previous 90 days prior to the AHC Young Stars of the Future Show. 104. Rider events under 12yrs Walk & Trot Only - Double or Snaffle allowed providing the appropriate safety measures have been met. Walk and Trot work out only will be given. Riders in this event cannot be entered for any other Rider Class (Open or Non-Pro) other than Leading Rein. This event is designed for those who cannot ride on their own, on the day of the show. 105. Leading Rein Events - for horses under 14hh at the AHC Show. Rider can be the age 3-8 years 106. Champion winners are eligible for their respective Led Ridden Supreme. 107. At the AHC Young Stars of the Future - competitors must choose to be ether a Show Horse Open or Show Hunter Open - NOT BOTH. 108. AHC is extremely grateful to all the sponsors who make our event possible. Many prizes are donated by our sponsors. Whilst we make every effort to ensure as many winners as possible take home prizes, it is sometimes beyond the control of the AHC team should a sponsor or prize giver neglect, rescinded, default or not present to AHC the promised published prize. In the unfortunate event of this occurring, given appropriate notice the AHC Team will try to ensure a

replacement is provided on the day of the show, however in this instance this may not always be achievable and no action can be taken against the AHC team for any sponsor default. 109. AHC Young Stars of the Future Entries will open on 15th January 2020 for AHC members and 30th January for other competitors. 110. Entries can be made through the Global Entries Online System. Enter one class a week or as often as you like until the Closing date. Entries can be changed, altered, amended or refunded prior to the closing date. Entries can be refunded prior to the closing date of entries – minus the ‘Event Fee’. 111. NO refunds will be given after close of entries being Wednesday 16th October for any reason. Entrants may contact AHC for amendments to entries in the event of Change of Horse/Rider, this will be at the discretion of AHC in relation to Cataloguing status. 112. OFFICIAL CLOSING DATE OF ENTRIES – 31st July 2020 - Midnight 113. PART PAYMENTS - A Layby or Part payment service can be available, if prior arrangement has been made with AHC prior to the closing date of entries. 114. NO entries will be accepted without full and complete payment unless a previously arranged payment arrangement has been made and confirmed to AHC prior to initial closing date of entries. 115. AHC always welcomes new Sponsors. With many events requiring sponsorship / product support, please don't hesitate to contact AHC to show your support for the event. All sponsors will be given advertising opportunities on the AHC Websites and Social media. ALL SPONSORS as details are received will have their details published on both official AHC Websites. Online Entries & Facebook 116. Online Entries will be conducted with the Global Entries Online Website. Credit Card payments will be available through the above website. Entries will not be processed on the website for invalid or declined cards. 117. Competitors will receive their Entrant Numbers for horses/riders/handler from the show office at the event. Please try to ensure all entries are correct and all horse/owner/rider/handler details are completed. Whilst no entries will be returned if incorrect, we would like competitors to be careful and precise when choosing their classes especially in height and ages groups. 118. AHC Young Stars of the Future is a “Clean Event”. All horses being entered have the chance of being swabbed at our event. In the unlikely event of a Positive Swab result returned to the AHC committee, the usual legal processes will follow and under advisement of the AHC Legal team, once confirmed and accepted by the competitor - the Name of the Horse & responsible officer will be published on the Arabian Horse Connection Website for 12 months and banned from AHC events for 2 years. 119. Limited onsite stabling is available at the Hawkesbury Showgrounds with only 80 stables/day stables available. 120. Stabling will be allocated on a first in best dressed basis by booking with entries. Stables and Camping sites will NOT be available until 6am on the Friday morning – 28th August 2020 unless otherwise pre-arranged and booked. 121. Shavings and other needs will be at the competitor’s separate cost. Stables must be cleaned of manure and tidy prior to vacating. New stables must be emptied completely 122. Camping sites (per Vehicle) requiring power or just a space are available. These must also be booked online with entries. ALL Camping sites must be pre-booked. A representative from the Arabian Horse Connection Hawkesbury Showground will be inspecting all sites, those who are using power that have not pre booked or paid will be issued with an on the spot payment advise from the Showground Manager. This will be strictly enforced. 123. All communication with Competitors will be contacted by email - not phone. 124.
