Bone and joint pathology and cytology in Carnivores: a diagnostic challenge

The annual meeting of the French Society of Veterinary Pathology will be held at the Institut Pasteur, Paris 14-15 December 2012.

The scientific programme on Friday 14th will cover diagnostic approaches of biopsies and cytological samples from bone and joints in Carnivores. Among the lecturers, we have invited Prof Steven Weisbrode (Ohio State university, USA), who gained a worldwide reputation on bone pathology.

A slide session will take place on Saturday 15th The slide session is designed to practising veterinary pathologists. The number of participants to this practical session is limited to 20 in order of registration.

You are kindly requested to provide slides from feline or canine bone or joint biopsies and cytological samples. The slides (10 slides per case) should be accompanied by case history, diagnosis / suggested diagnosis, and reasons of the case's choice. The most interesting or representative cases will be selected by the coordinators.

All lectures will be taught in English.

Travel expenses, accommodation and other meals not specified in the program are NOT included in this fee.
