Aint Seen Me Yet & Maggie Poloncic won just over $16k in Frenchmans Guy Race 2 while winning the Showdown Round and have been winning Frenchman’s Lady at rodeo and barrel races all year long. Aint Seen Nothin Yet BRR: Can you walk us through your runs at the All In Barrel Race 2? Dash Ta Fame Poloncic: The first round I wanted to just make a nice smooth run Smart N Famous si 113 since she has been on vacation since October. She qualified me back si 89 Smart N Sixy on that run placing 3rd in the round. The second round I tried too si 90 hard to be a bit faster and we took a barrel down. In the final round Aint Seen Me Yet my only goal was to get her set up going to the first barrel a bit better and then just stay out of her way! BRR: Tell us about little about Aint Seen Me Yet and what are some of her big wins in her lifetime so far? The Rundown w/Maggie Poloncic Poloncic: She is so special to us! We have had her since she was a Aint Seen Me Yet “Puff” 14.3 hands, 1100 lbs. yearling and we knew she was special then. This lightning fast team Fire Water Flit won the Showdown Round for Race 3 by almost 2 tenths and took si 86 Slash J Harletta the $15k check home. The Barrel Racing Report caught up with her Chasin Firewater for a few questions about her win and horse. Bugs Alive in 75 BRR: Can you walk us through your runs at the All In Barrel Race 3? Has The Touch si 94 Choate: In the very first All In Race this year, Side Chick and I set a Rocket Charged new arena record the first race. It was very exciting! Then in Race 3, si 87 we came back to break that arena record again with a 14.172, but we Miss JB 1214 drug over the second barrel. I was bummed, but I knew that we had one more shot at it! We ran a 14.164 and ended up second in the 2012 Sorrel Mare 1D behind another amazing run made by Annaliese Allshouse who First Down Dash was a 14.057. Going into the finals, I was kind of nervous because Dash Ta Fame si 105 si 113 I had been dragging over the second barrel all week. I remember Sudden Fame telling myself to focus on making my run and the rest would take Ta Tornado si 98 care of itself. Side Chick went in and turned the first great, and then si 85 Sparkling Moolah going to the second barrel she was making me work to keep it up. Tornado Alert si 105 She turned the third and we stopped the clock at a 14.194 which si 94 Little Miss Tornado ended up winning the Showdown Round. Rider/Owner: Bayleigh Choate; Breeder: Joe & Dee Lynn Braman BRR: What makes Miss JB 1214 so special and makes her clock such fast times? Choate: Side Chick has a big heart and that is what makes her so Choate: It was a lot of fun running in that environment, against special. She always tries. Another reason that she is so special is be- previous NFR qualifiers and other great barrel racers. But like I said, cause I truly believe that Side Chick chose me as her person. We got I don’t try to over analyze any run and just remember that it’s three her from Patricia Aldridge, and she was meant to be a broodmare barrels. The All In has given barrel racers a great opportunity and it because she kept bucking everyone who tried to ride her off. Her was an experience that I will never forget! and I just ‘click’ and understand one another. BRR: What are your barrel racing plans for 2020 for you and your BRR:Tell us about little about Miss JB 1214 and what are some of horse? her big wins in her lifetime so far? Choate: We qualified for The American Semi Finals and my goal is Choate: Some of our big wins include winning the WBRL World to make it to AT&T. I would also like to redeem myself at the Jr. Finals, Youth World Finals, All In Barrel Race, Battle in the Saddle World Finals and I also plan to go back to Youth Finals. Of course, in Tunica, Mississippi, and several more wins. I would say that one someday I would like to try and qualify to the NFR! If Side Chick is of the most memorable weekends on Side Chick was at the IFYR happy and still doing what she loves, we will give it a try! Finals where we ended up 69th in the first round, 2nd in the second round and 4th in the average. No other horse overcame what she did that weekend, coming from as far back as we did to end up 4th All In Barrel Race - Race 3 overall.
