Fundraising Guide

Get Active for !

Raise vital funds to help us rescue and rehome thousands of dogs in desperate need of our help and have a great time doing it! Together we can ensure all dogs enjoy a happy life, free from the threat of unnecessary destruction.

Dogs Trust is the UK’s leading welfare charity and we are working towards the day when all dogs can enjoy a happy life, free from the threat of unnecessary destruction. Through our network of rehoming centres we try to find loving homes for thousands of unwanted dogs. We are reliant on voluntary donations to continue our work and without your support it would be simply impossible to care for over 16,000 dogs every year.

Ways to fundraise…

There are 100s of things you can be sponsored to do – skydive, shave your head, arrange a football tournament, give up smoking, take part in a sponsored walk – your imagination is the limit! What ever your interests are, you can plan an activity around it and help raise £s for hounds!

But if you don’t want to organise your own thing, you can always take part in a larger event and raise money for Dogs Trust. We have charity places in exciting running events up and down the country (see over page) and overseas challenges. You could also help your local rehoming centre by taking part in one of their events (see over page).
