Conference games still tied after a five-minute 5-on-5 overtime advance to a five-minute 3-on-3 overtime (and sudden victory shootout if still tied) with the team that wins the second overtime/shootout receiving an extra point in the standings (3/SW in the standings), making all games worth three points. The 3-on-3 overtime and shootouts only affect conference standings while the game is officially a tie for NCAA purposes. NCHC Facts and Figures This Week’s Games • Only two NCHC series are on the schedule this weekend with Colorado Friday, Feb. 9 College at No. 8/8 North Dakota and No. 4/3 St. Cloud State at Miami. *No. 4/3 St. Cloud State at Miami, 8:08 p.m. ET Following this weekend’s games, all eight teams will only have three series (six games) left in the regular season. The Huskies can move into sole TV: CBS Sports Network possession of first place in the NCHC this weekend as they sit only three *Colorado College at No. 8/8 North Dakota, 7:37 p.m. CT points behind No. 2/2 Denver, which is idle this weekend.
