Maxi Brick FW0302 Weight – between 5.1-5.9kg – Most dwellings. (Paint Grade) Coring – greater than 30% – Can be used for two storey construction. 90mm MPa – greater than 12 – Not suitable for fire rating application. – Usually on the heavier side. – Where paint grade finish is required. 162mm – Avoids having to render the brick first before painting. – Made in such a manner to minimise cracking, 305mm spotting and manufacturing faults so that paint can be applied directly to the brick. Maxi-One FW0308 Weight – between 5.1-5.9kg – Single storey dwellings only. 90mm Coring – greater than 30% – Not suitable for fire rating application. MPa – greater than 10 162mm – Because they are 10 MPa, Maxi ones are only suitable for single storey construction.

305mm

Maxi Render FW1505 Weight – between 5.1-5.9kg – Single storey dwellings only. 90mm Coring – greater than 30% – Not suitable for fire rating or load bearing MPa – stronger than Fastwall but not able to give application. 162mm definite MPa rating due to possibility of variety of different Maxis mixed in together possibly from various kilns.

305mm – Classified as a render due to excessive cracking, breakages or degraded face bricks. Fastwall FW0300 Weight – Between 4.7-5.2kg – Can be used on the top floor of two storey 90mm Coring – greater than 30% construction. Internal walls only. MPa – greater than 3.5 – Make good separation walls in multi storey. 162mm – Fastwall has horizontal coring. – Not suitable for fire rating application or for – Coring allows the brick to dry faster in winter acoustic performance. – Internal Use only. 305mm – They do not get water logged in wet weather – They are usually lighter than the standard Maxi – Due to the coring they use less mortar Maxi Lite One FW0110 Weight – between 4.7-5.2kg – Single storey dwellings only. 90mm Coring – greater than 30% – Not suitable for fire rating application. MPa – greater than 9 162mm – Highly desirable product due to its lightweight. – Because they are 9 MPa Maxi Lite One’s are only suitable for single storey construction. 305mm

Maxi Lite FW0112 Weight – between 4.7-5.2kg – Suitable for most dwellings. 90mm Coring – greater than 30% – Suitable for for two storey construction. MPa – greater than 12 162mm – Highly desirable product due to its light weight and strength. – Brickies prefer to lay lighter Maxi, as total weight 305mm lifted over the course of a job is significantly less.

Maxi Lite. Given a standard, single storey house would typically utilise 7000 units, on average, a bricklayer can lift as much as 40,000kg of Maxi Bricks per job. As a result of using Midland’s Maxi Lite, a massive 3500kg decrease on just one project is ! achievable. Span these figures over the working career of a bricklayer and the benefits to the building industry and the wellbeing of the bricklayer are obvious. Maxi Bricks

CODE PRODUCT FEATURES APPLICATION Maxi Brick FW0350 Weight – between 5.1-5.9kg – Most dwellings. (Load Bearing) 15MPa Coring – greater than 30% – Can be used for two storey construction and 90mm MPa – greater than 15 commercial work. – Suitable for load bearing application. – Load bearing to 15 MPa. 162mm – Some large homes or commercial buildings require a certified MPa load bearing Maxi.

305mm

Maxi Brick FW0352 Weight – between 5.4-6.6kg – Most dwellings. (Load Bearing) 18MPa Coring – can be greater or less than 30% – Can be used for two storey construction. 90mm depending on which kiln it is produced. – Load bearing to 18 MPa. MPa – greater than 18 162mm – It is the strongest Maxi that we make and suitable for load bearing application where 18 MPa has been specified.

305mm – Usually used in large homes or on commercial buildings where engineer specifically requires a certified MPa load bearing Maxi. Maxi Brick Acoustic FW0310 Weight – between 6-6.6kg – Most dwellings.
