Athlete Guide 2021 - Supersapiens IRONMAN 70.3 Nice SWIM 1.9 | BIKE 90 | RUN 21 It’s time almost race time for Supersapiens IRONMAN 70.3 Nice after a year full of challenges where Sports were strained and major events put on hold. The global pandemic has hit hard. It has impacted many sports and triathlon is no exception with many postponed and cancelled events. It’s been two years since the last edition, but it is finally back in Nice, where it has become a legend after almost 40 years, since the first edition in 1982 and since it first became IRONMAN in 2005.

It’s time to remind all the triathletes in the world that Nice is a special destination for them. An extraordinary playground in an exceptional setting, between sea and mountains.

So to celebrate this unique moment, we are offering them two challenges. By combining the IRONMAN and the IRONMAN 70.3, the organizers have once again demonstrated their ambition and their desire to maintain the legend of this unique discipline in our city. Two races in one and the certainty that each participant will be able to give the best of themselves during the event of their choice. Because sport must remain this space of freedom allowing each one to take up his own challenge whatever his level, his age, his sex or his condition.

An XXL organization in the wake of Yves CORDIER from Nice. His commitment to his sport and to his city has made this former great triathlete a recognized and respected organizer, and in the necessarily particular context that we have been experiencing for months, his expertise and experience allow us once again to show how Nice remains the unmissable triathlon event in the world today. To all of you, participants, organizers and volunteers, I wish you the best of luck for this great return to Nice.

REGISTRATION AREA

What is called a «health pass» in France corresponds to the «digital green certificate» or «European Covid-19 certificate» proposed by the European Commission in March 2021. In France, it includes three documents to be presented as desired:

Certificate of vaccination against Covid (digital - via the TousAntiCovid application - or paper) with a QR Code

Proof of a negative PCR or antigen test with a QR Code of less than 72 hours before you are coming at the registration area

Certificate of reinstatement : The result of a positive RT-PCR or antigen test attesting to recovery from Covid-19, dating at least 15 days and less than 6 months old

Once the Health Pass has been validating, you will have access to all race areas without having to present it again with your wirstband!

In order to make the process smoother, we invite you to download the "Tous anti COVID" French Government App, available in your App store.

In this app, you will be able to download your vaccine certificate or your PCR test. The App can read all the EU QR codes.
