While driving home from the JCC Purim Carnival, I was thinking about what to write for this article. I thought back to the evening and how busy the bubble was. Many kids and Adults were dressed up for Purim, playing games, jumping in the bouncing castle and the families from our Community were mingling with each other. Laura, with the help of the many volunteers and JCC staff, worked hard and did an excellent job. There were many new faces at the Purim Carnival that I had not met before. They are new to our community and bring with them their family and friends. It was a pleasure meeting everyone. I realized that this is why it is important that we have an active and vibrant JCC. It not only gives those already in our community a place to gather and provides an opportunity to welcome new members to the commun- ity.
