LAST YEAR the Community Center for the Performing Arts kicked off Eugene LIVE! -- a series of showcase concerts that highlight performers from the Pacific Northwest. The series ran from January until June and included six preliminary concerts and a grand final. Bluegrass, Folk, Funk, Rock, Rap and Punk were all represented. Twenty-eight acts participated.
