It is designed to be a continuation of the principals taught in the Part 1 Classes. The setting is a small group limited to four people to provide a more personalized instruction for tying Parachute Dry Flies and Pheasant Tail Nymphs. All tools and materials will be provided. Introduction to Fly Fishing 2 Hours, Classroom Setting - $40 Everything you need to get into the sport of fly fishing. This class goes over all the gear you'll be using. We'll discuss the differences in rods, reels, lines, waders, you name it and teach you all the knots you'll need to learn to properly rig up all of your equipment. Fly Casting 101 2 Hours, Outdoors - $40 Learn basic casting skills from a highly experienced instructor. The class starts in the park learning techniques of basic casts and then applies them on the waters of the Kinni. Glasses or sunglasses, and waders or rubber knee boots required. “On the Stream” Trout Class 2 Hours, Outdoors - $40 Streamside instruction on the banks of the Kinni. This class goes over river structure, aquatic insect life, and fish habitat while you practice various fishing techniques. Intermediate Level Classes Spey Casting For Stream Trout 2 Hours, Outdoors - $40 Spey casts allow for easier and more efficient casting in tight and overgrown trout streams. If you haven't learned these casts yet you'll wish you did. Take our 2 hour class that covers basic spey casting techniques while utilizing the stream trout rod and line you already own. You'll need to have a decent grasp on the basic overhead cast and roll cast for this class. Bass Bug Basics 2 Hour Class - $40 Learn techniques for tying deer hair and foam head flies. Commonly known as poppers and sliders. They'll entice largemouth bass, smallmouth bass and a variety of other species if you vary the size. Tying Tube Flies 2 Hour Class - $40 Learn to utilize some of the newest techniques in fly tying. New to many of us anyway. Tube flies have actually been used successfully on the other side of the Atlantic for many years. Tube flies are useful in that you tie your materials onto a tube that costs much less than a hook. Run your line through the tube fly and tie on whatever hook you like. You can tie a whole box full of tube flies and only need to purchase a few hooks. Tie many of the same flies that you would tie on a standard hook. The possibilities are limited by your imagination. There are even more advantages to the tube fly that we will cover.
