This will be used to fund projects that support surrounding communities in bettering their livelihoods. For more information please view our website on www.sanparks.org All accommodation, ablution and kitchen facilities are serviced by cleaning staff on a daily basis unless specifically indicated otherwise. Several parks and rest-camps have retail facilities and restaurants. Tariffs do not include meals unless specifically indicated otherwise. Vehicle fuel is available in several parks (or is available on the park periphery) and in the main rest camps in Kruger and Kgalagadi. Bedding is supplied in all accommodation unless specifically indicated otherwise. Cooking utensils and refrigeration are provided in most accommodation units. Exceptions will be indicated while booking Additional Person Supplements are applicable to those units where number of beds exceeds the base occupancy, if these beds are occupied Adult rates apply to persons 12 years and older. Child rates apply to persons aged 2-11 years. Infants under 2 years gratis Nationals of SADC countries that are part of a transfrontier agreement or treaty will have the same benefits as South African residents for park-specific daily conservation fee charges. For example, a Mozambique and Zimbabwe national visiting Kruger or a Botswana national visiting Kgalagadi, will pay a daily conservation fee equal to what South African Nationals pay (instead of the fee other SADC nationals pay). These include: Kruger National Park : Characterised by combinations of savannah, thornveld and woodland eco-zones. Large African mammals are present. Kruger has 12 main rest camps, 5 bushveld camps, 2 bush lodges, 5 satellite camps and 2 sleepover hides. Arid Cluster : Characterised by arid climate, sparse vegetation and sandy soils, these parks fall in the Northern Cape Province. Large African Mammals are present in these parks. |Ai- |Ais / Richtersveld Transfrontier, Augrabies Falls, Kgalagadi Transfrontier, Mokala and Namaqua National Parks fall into this cluster. Cape Cluster : Falling within the South Western reaches of the Western Cape Province; these parks are home to the endemic Cape Floral Kingdom. They may also feature mountainous, coastal, riverine or estuarine habitats. Agulhas, Bontebok, Table Mountain, Tankwa-Karoo and West Coast National Parks fall into this cluster. Frontier Cluster : Located in the frontier regions of the Eastern Cape made popular by the travails of the 1820 Settler’s. Large African mammals are found in these parks that include a variety of habitats across the parks, ranging from Nama-Karoo, grassland, montane, forest, valley thicket, fynbos and coastline. Addo Elephant, Camdeboo, Karoo and Mountain Zebra National Parks fall in this cluster. Garden Route National Park : Located in the picturesque Garden Route on South Africa’s southern coast, these parks feature a range of habitats including rocky shorelines, temperate forests, lakes, rivers, estuaries and fynbos. The Tsitsikamma, Knysna and Wilderness sections comprise the Garden Route National Park. Northern Cluster : Featuring savannah thornveld or grasslands, these parks are located in the northern provinces of South Africa. Mountains are a feature of some. Golden Gate, Marakele and Mapungubwe National Parks fall into this cluster. SANPARKS: Tariffs from 1 November 2019 to 31 October 2020 KRUGER NATIONAL PARK Where nearly 2 million hectares of unrivalled diversity of life forms fuses with historical and archaeological sites – this is real Africa. DAILY CONSERVATION FEES Members of SANParks’ loyalty programme WILD do not pay conservation fees provided that proof of Identity and their WILD card are shown on arrival (See WILD details elsewhere on this site) A non-refundable fee, payable in advance, of R46.00 per adult and R23.00 per child, is charged on all advance reservations for day visits. This is charged in addition to conservation fees and applies equally to WILD members. Category Adult Rate / Day Child Rate / Day South African Citizens and Residents (with ID) R 100 R 50 SADC Nationals (with passport) R 200 R 100 Standard Conservation Fee R 400 R 200 In emergencies only, late arrivals for guests with prebooked accommodation at camps within 10km from an entrance gate is allowed subject to the following conditions: * Not allowed under any circumstances at Giriyondo, Pafuri, Phabeni or Phalaborwa Gates * No arrivals later than 21:00 under any circumstances * An additional cost per vehicle applies: R650 for vehicles with 8 or less passengers, R1,350 for vehicles with 9 or more passengers * Must be arranged in advance with the gate and rest camp * Evidence of emergency that delayed arrival will be requested KRUGER ACCOMMODATION Camping: Sites for caravans or tents – some sites with powerpoints, others without. Site base rates include one motorised vehicle per site, additional vehicles will be charged at the rate of R100 per vehicle per night. Hut: Single room units with communal kitchen and communal ablution facilities. Safari Tent : Permanent canvas tent bedrooms on permanent platforms. Some have communal kitchen and communal ablution facilities, while others are fully equipped and have more luxurious trimmings. Bungalow : Single bedroom units with a bathroom. Some make use of communal kitchens while others have own kitchenettes with basic kitchen equipment. Some bungalows have perimeter or river views, while others have been upgraded to luxury status. Cottage : Single bedroom units with living room, bathroom and kitchen. Family Cottage: Multiple bedroom units with a living room, bathroom and kitchen. Guest Cottage : Multiple bedroom units with at least 2 bathrooms of which one is en-suite and a fully equipped kitchen. Guest House: Multiple bedroom and bathroom units with lounge area and often with bar facility and exclusive view. Bush Lodge : Exclusive private lodges, with a unique style and atmosphere. Multiple rooms and bathrooms.
