• As global economic growth has been slowing in momentum, with the recovery of several world economies prolonged by weakening global trade and capital flows, domestic demand is expected to continue serving as the engine of Malaysia’s growth. • In Sabah, the relative weakness in the commodity sector has been cushioned by the expansion of the mining and resilience of the services sector, especially the tourism sub-sector. 7.0
