After the drive to Buffalo and a night at the beautiful Garden Palace, we were ready to hear from the Lord! The seminar featured a mix of men and women of God (mostly pastors and other leaders) from the area, from as far away as Niagara Falls. We kicked off the seminar with a message from Evangelist Debra Ryberg; urging us to return to our original purpose (according to Genesis 1:27-28). She iterated that only by reconnecting to (relating to, being reconciled with) God can we do this.

After lunch, we all heard more wisdom from Evangelist Jean Boyd, including several DOs to maximizing marriage and ministry. Pastor Mark Vaughn concluded the line-up of powerful speakers, followed by a closing prayer by Michael and Annette Brooks. We bless God for using the Brooks© to arrange this time of learning to Maximize the Ministry we call Marriage!

Our hosts, Michael & Annette Brooks

We then heard from Pastor Allen Core on the "Death of a Marriage". After a short break, we heard from our own Co-Pastor Jeanette Vaughn and learned how important it is to have a vision for our family. She charged the husband-priests to seek the Lord for this vision upon returning home. We heard from Pastor William Feaster on knowing your purpose and picked up a nugget of wisdom from the Word on the importance of the union between husband and wife! (see Duet. 24:5).
